Dance Crimes was formed by artists out of San Francisco Bay Area with an idea to complete their personal vision of modern EDM sound mixed with variety of popular music. By combining programmed and studio produced elements with music instruments known for their long tradition in live performances, Dance Crimes is looking to create their own identity in the vast sea of music art. In the band’s vision their music is not tied to many predefined restrictions however the focus is maintained on music's ability to facilitate movement in the audience and bring people together through the art of dancing.
Sky Police was formed on a hot summer day at the annual Californian Red Marines music festival in 2007. While playing songs at the festival, Sky Police, masterminded by Boris Polissky – vocals, guitars and keyboards-gave birth to the idea that one could hold in their hands, an LP. As with the creation of all good music, time and some help were needed. With his close friends, many of whom have been successful in their own musical careers (conducting orchestras all over the world, and playing drums for thousands of people at Rock En Espanol shows, playing bass for some of the most well-known Russian bands) Boris mixed a vivid blend of mainstream pop/rock with an edgy twist.
