California College of the Arts (CCA) - San Francisco Campus
Literary, Books

The legendary raucous & rowdy performance gang Sister Spit, a lesbian-feminist spoken word and performance art collective, comes to CCA with a vanload of queer-centric brilliance! Sister Spit is a multimedia explosion of tastemakers, novelists, luminaries, chanteuses, performance artists, poets, and filmmakers.

With performances by Michelle Tea, Ali Liebegott, Tamara Llosa-Sandor, TextaQueen, Daniel LéVesque, and DavEnd.

Modern Times Bookstore will be onsite to sell copies of the performers' works, including the anthology edited by Michelle Tea, "Sister Spit: Writing, Rants and Reminiscence from the Road," the first release from Sister Spit Books, an imprint of City Lights. And! The newest titles in the series, both by Sister Spit superstar Ali Liebegott, will be available for early release: "Cha-Ching!" and "The Beautifully Worthless." And more!
