San Francisco Heritage Presents:
Mayhem Mansion SF 2017
A Haunted House Experience for Two Weekends Only!
October 20-21 and 27-28
Mayhem Mansion returns for its fifth year of twisted shenanigans. This year's tours are extra special since guests will get a sneak peek at recent renovations before we reopen to the general public in November!
Your fun begins in the foyer, where a groovie ghoulie will lead you on a magical tour through the rotting rooms and historic halls. It seems that recent construction may have shook a few ghosts loose, and you never know who, or what, is still lurking in the corridors!
Your tour ends in the Spookeasy, our Halloween haven stocked with refreshments and fun!
The Spookeasy will be open during event hours and accessible through a separate outside entrance. It will feature a cash bar serving beer, wine and elixirs. Alcohol served to guests 21 and over only. Nonalcoholic beverages will also be available.
Credit cards accepted.
Proceeds go to the upkeep of the Haas-Lilienthal House under the direction of San Francisco Heritage.
Do I need my ticket to get into the event? Yes! Please present either a printed ticket or digital one, at the door.
Will tickets be available at the door? Yes! A limited amount of higher priced tickets will be available for purchase each night. We will do our best to inform the public if we sell out.
How long are the tours? Each tour is around 20 minutes (a lot can happen in that time!). You may stay as long as you like in the Spookeasy.
Are there any stairs? Yes. There are about 20 steps to get into the House. Once inside, the tour will ascend, then descend, a full flight. Please inform your host if you need assistance.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible? Yes. The Ballroom (location of Spookeasy) is now wheelchair accessible plus we have an elevator to transport anyone that is stair challenged.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Unfortunately, we do not have public parking. We are located 1-2 blocks from Muni stops. The closest stops are at Jackson and Van Ness (47, 49,) and Franklin and Clay or Sacramento (1). If you drive, there are parking garages near Jackson and Polk.
Is there an age limit? Mayhem Mansion is for emotionally stable adults and relatively strong children, ages 8 and up. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Not recommended for children under 8. Some frights or scenes may be too scary for more sensitive children.
Do I need an ID to drink alcohol? Alcohol will not be served to minors. You may be asked to show your ID, or donate some blood, if the bartender suspects that you are underage.
What is the refund policy? No refunds will be issued the day of the event nor after the event date has passed nor for any missed day or time due to transportation problems, illness, weather, shark attack or any other circumstances beyond our control, or ability to verify.
May I wear a costume? Yes, you may, but we might make fun of it. You've been warned!
WE WILL HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR EACH NIGHT. THEY WILL BE FOR SALE IN THE SPOOKEASY. "NIGHT OF" TICKET BUYERS WILL BE PLACED IN THE NEXT AVAILABLE TOUR, IF POSSIBLE. THERE MAY BE A SHORT WAIT AS WE CANNOT EXCEED 20 GUESTS PER TOUR.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE!
