Left Bank Brasserie Menlo Park Hosts 21st Amendment Brew Masters Dinner

Left Bank Brasserie in Menlo Park will be hosting a $65.00 four-course 21st Amendment Brewery Brew Masters beer paired dinner on Friday, October 21 beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a welcome reception. The price excludes tax and gratuity and Jeff Eaton, the head brewer of 21st Amendment Brewery, will be in attendance. Reservations are required and can be made by either calling the restaurant or emailing Nicki Mesenburg at [email protected].

The special menu, prepared by Chef Brendy Monsada, will include an amuse-bouche of Medjool date, French bleu d’Auvergne, brie cheese croquette and Down to Earth Session IPA syrup paired with a Down to Earth Session IPA; a starter of Brew Free! Or Die IPA Slow Braised Smoked Pork Belly with Gravenstein apple purée and vol au vent with a Brew Free! or Die IPA; followed by an entrée of Pistachio Crusted Lamb Chops with gratin potatoes and a Toaster Pastry India Style Red Ale reduction with a Toaster Pastry India Style Red Ale; and then, for dessert, a Cordillera Chocolate Fondant with fleur de sel salted caramel ice cream paired with Monk’s Blood.

Enticing libations are a Left Bank hallmark and the Menlo Park location’s full bar offers classic, contemporary and original cocktails, a large pastis selection, and an award-winning list of premium and affordable French and California wines. Daily Happy Hour, at the bar and on the patio from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and again from 9:00 p.m. until close, affords the opportunity to enjoy food and beverage specials.

The restaurant's 172-seat dining room features decor elements that evoke a lively brasserie and include a natural light-filled interior, artistic inset floor tiles with fleur-de-lis accents, high ceilings with skylights, two walls of windows, cherry wood millwork accents and original Parisian posters. An engaging private room overlooks the main dining room.
