Born and raised in Norway, Chris "Kid" Andersen moved to California in 2001 to pursue a career in music. While at the relatively young age of 21, he quickly became a staple of the thriving West Coast Blues scene, and since then has been plugging away as a sideman for such acts as harmonica legend Charlie Musselwhite, sax great Terry Hanck, harp ace RJ Mischo, and up and coming harpist and vocalist extraordinaire John Nemeth. However, he is also an established solo act, having released his first album, Rock Awhile in 2003. Listeners of this whiz kid will pick up on the influences of blues guitar greats like BB King, Otis Rush and early Peter Green.
