Her Space Holiday - The Past Presents the Future

Released on Witchita, September 26th

It's no wonder Marc Bianchi, aka Her Space Holiday, has been given the opportunity to work with the likes of Bright Eyes, American Analog Set, REM, The Faint and others. This album represents a fun and reflective side of a man who has the ability to put you into a momentary state of bliss.

"The Weight of The World" will be making you think, "Is this the way I am suppose to feel? Oh, I feel just wonderful!" On "You and Me" it's as if Bianchi invited the Tosca Strings along to be scooped up by the big dipper to play among the stars and simple pinhole lyrics. It would be almost impossible not to enjoy the reverse slow motion carousel ride that illuminates "The Good People of Everywhere". One song is a little out of place; "A Match Made in Texas" which is a rootsy, funky floating hayride of a song that may have been originally intended as B-side.

The only setback is the return value, how many times would you really want to take this ride alone? This should make it a perfect lounging background track for the after party. Her Space Holiday's latest is for future fans of a much softer Modest Mouse, and maybe a more sober, less effected Eels.
