"Good People" by Pulitzer Prize Winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire is a wonderful, semi-autobiographical play set in South Boston. Five "Southie" friends come together when one of them loses her job at the Dollar Store. The action keeps audiences on their toes as it bounces from clever comedy to emotional turmoil and back again through very well-drawn and memorable characters. Directed by Delia MacDougall, who credits Lindsay-Abaire's experiences in South Boston with his ability to balance the heavier moments of the play with lighter touches. A stellar, ensemble cast brings these characters to life perfectly, in "Southie" accents, and makes this a very entertaining piece of theatre.
Complimentary wine/cheese/dessert bar before every show and during intermission!
