Climate Career Fair & Forum - Spring 2019

Mon Apr 15
The David Brower Center
3pm - 9pm

Join us in Spring 2019 for the Climate Career Fair & Forum, presented by Climate.Careers.

Learn about employment opportunities at 30+ for-profit and non-profit organizations that are working to mitigate climate change.  Meet the founders, hiring managers, and other org representatives in a low-pressure, social setting.

Deepen your understanding of climate change. Learn about the work currently being done to address the causes and effects of climate change accross a variety of industries and fields: energy, food, education, buildings and construction, land use, transportation, material sciences, smart cities, public policy, and more.

Hear from leaders at startups and established companies, VCs, NPOs, and representatives from the public sector who are delivering climate-focused products, services, and policy initiatives.

Enjoy light snacks and refreshments while networking with like-minded individuals who are driven to make the world a better place through their work.

This is not a typical career fair.

The Spring 2019 Climate Career Fair & Forum aims to empower the solutions to the greatest environmental and social challenges we face, by bringing together mission-driven job seekers and organizations working to address these challenges.

This event is inspired by and aims to support the work of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and leading proposals such as Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez's "Green New Deal" and Paul Hawken's book "Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming".

Job seekers:

Are you concerned about the future of our planet and your role within it? Do you want a fulfilling career that allows you to leverage skills to maximize your ability to make a positive impact on the world? Are you eager to be introduced to organizations working to address climate change and global warming?

If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, this event is designed for you!

**Note: We are also seeking volunteers to help with this event in a variety of ways. If interested, please contact [email protected]**
