San Francisco Chinatown is the oldest and second largest Chinatown in North America, densely-packed with some of the most famous places, people and events in city history to see and learn, and good food to try. This tour presented by Love to Explore community, who are obsessed with history and love sharing stories and lead by our local guide, Dan Love, who is very knowledgeable in world history and also a foodie adventurer to take you to explore through the streets and alleys of Chinatown and explain the fascinating culture and history and social movements that shaped this community. The tour is an easy and efficient way of getting around and seeing a lot, and you don't have to spend a lot of time reading about the history of every place beforehand. The tours usually take an hour or two, then you can head out on your own to poke around in the alleys, do a tea tasting, look around in the shops, and have a leisurely lunch.
