Blue Bear is San Francisco's (and the nation's) longest running rock n roll music school, a noted SF legacy business and a non-profit 501c3 organization, that has been bringing quality music education to the Bay Area since 1971.
Since 2017, Blue Bear has been running beginning and intermediate DJ classes with the end-of-course showcases of the students sets being held at Monarch. For this event, we've booked some of our best and most talented alumni DJ students from those classes to play in a curated night that celebrates disco, funk, house, and tech. Starting the night off will be short warm up sets from two of the school's DJ instructors, Brent Northey and Miguel 23.
