Berlin-based Electronic producer Bearcubs recently released his third album entitled Weather Report, an ambitious amalgam of lo-fi beats, glitchy noise and booming bass, backdropping his subtle indie-style vocals.
A slight nod to the legendary fusion-jazz band of the same name, Weather Report plays as a cascading mishmash of highs and lows, it's "about how moods go up and down, luck comes and goes, seasons change and life goes on." The producer explains, "I think the album has a bit of tension between a carefree attitude, and worries about the world/dealing with the monotony of life sometimes, mainly because it's been a time in my life where I've found myself more and I'm more comfortable in my own skin."

Bearcubs is an electronic music producer from London, UK. Bearcubs, aka Jack Ritchie has previously been compared to the likes of Jamie xx. His latest 5-track EP, Chroma, is a distinctly British, downbeat take on glitchy RnB electronica made popular by the likes of Snakehips and Flume. It's a mature sounding offering considering this is Bearcub's debut full length EP - whilst he's previously released two well-received singles, 'Touch' and 'Paper Walls', and collaborated with Tom Misch on the hit 'Colours of Freedom', Chroma made us really take notice of the young producer.
