SF Station Blows It Up

1. Dirty Heads @ Esurance Icer Air 2007, AT&T Park, San Francisco, November 3, 2007

The 3rd Annual Icer Air graced AT&T ballpark and brought the mayhem that is the Big Air Ski and Snowboard competition. With lots of things to watch like BMX, FMX, Skate and Vert races plus amazing ski and snowboard jumps as well as the Likes of TJ Schiller, Simon Dumont, Andreas Wiig and the winners Jon Olsson and Travis Rice this was hell of a day and the cherry on top was amazing performances from Talib Kweli, Mos Def and The Dirty Heads.

2. Lupe Fiasco @ 106 KMEL private session, 1015 Folsom, San Francisco, November 4, 2007

106 KMEL invited 106 lucky guests last Sunday night for a private concert from two of hip hop's best: Talib Kweli and Lupe Fiasco. Talib was promoting his new label Blacksmith and a new album Ear Drum. Lupe not to be outdone opened the show with a killer set that included his hit “Kick Push” and his current single “Superstar”. If you weren’t there you missed one hell of a show.

3. Art Brut @ Mezzanine, San Francisco, November 6, 2007

UK’s Art Brut returned to San Francisco to a packed house opening for Hold Steady and put on the show of a lifetime. With amazing guitars, drums and bass they drove the kids to dance and once Eddie Argos jumped into the crowd, it was on like Donkey Kong.
