SF Station Blows It Up

1. Man Man @ The Independent, San Francisco, April 4, 2007

With guitars, keys, drums and trumpets Man Man blew up the Independent last Wednesday night. Dressed in all white as if this was a scene from Miami Vice, they performed tunes from their new album and made all the San Francisco hipsters dance, which, if you've ever been to a indie show before, you would know is a hard thing to do.


2. The Teddybears @ Popscene, San Francisco, April 5, 2007

If you haven’t heard of the Teddybears or seen them, you are missing out; they're the creators of the underground smash "Punkrocker" featuring Iggy Pop. Last week they blew Popscene up with their crazy outfits and amazing sound. With a slew of killer singers that included Aimee Echo from the Start who punked out the room with one word that began mosh pit. With their brand of punk, rock and whatever else you can call it these Teddybears are dope in my book.

3. John Legend @ Greek Theater, Berkeley, April 7, 2007

The R&B singer who took the world by storm a few years ago showed exactly why he is so prolific by selling out the Greek Theater in Berkeley. With women screaming out, Mr. Legend hit the stage and, with hits like “Save Room" and "Heaven", he blew the roof off the place (if it had a roof).
