SF Station Blows It Up

1. Eugene Goreshter of Autolux, live on stage @ Live 105's NSSN, San Francisco, December 9, 2005

As soon as Autolux took the stage you knew it was going to be a good night. From the first beat on Carla Azar's drums the crowd went wild. Their simple four-four rhythm is something most beat-makers would envy.

2. Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, live on stage @ Live 105's NSSN, San Francisco December 9, 2005

Death Cab for Cutie I have to say is one of the most amazing bands because of their ability to sound great on a record and on a stage. As soon as they hit the stage at this years Not So Silent Night they completely held over 8000 peoplein the palm of their hands. With Ben Bibbard's amazing lead vocals that tug at your soul to Nicholas Hammer's bass rythms that make you stomp your feet, to see these guys is a definite treat.

3. Lady Sovereign, backstage at Club 6, San Francisco, December 9, 2005

You take one look at this girl and you see that this might be very interesting. This is Lady Sovereign a 5'1" UK MC with rhymes that will make you dance, dance, dance. It's 12:30 am and the room filled with indie kids and true hip hop head. I realize they're all here to see her and from her first word I know why. She rhyme's about life and how she sees the world and in my eyes that's the only thing that a true MC is about.
