SF Station Blows It Up

1.David Dondero, live on stage @ Bimbo's, San Francisco, November 4, 2005

This San Francisco-based singer, songwriter is one brilliant storyteller. His sound is a mixture of Tom Waits & Johnny Cash and his own San Fran twang. He was the opening act for They Might Be Giants whose fans are definitely a mish mash of society and to watch them all freeze and listen to David's every word and note was pretty amazing.

2. The Bad Plus, live on stage @ The Independent, San Francisco, November 4, 2005

I have to say its very cool to walk into a show and see an acoustic bass-piano-drums trio playing Bjork. To see jazz fans go crazy and dance around is a surprise and a pleasure.

3. Jamiroquai, live on stage @ The Fillmore, San Francisco, November 6, 2005

Acid Jazz isn't dead, it's just been on a break and when you see a live Jamiroquai show you realize it. This Brit is a force on stage with electrifying vocals and band that simply rocks the house. His performance at the Fillmore was perfect, with a sold out crowd looking on and his trade mark crazy hat on, he dropped hit after hit.
