SF Station Blows It Up

1. Nic Cester (guitar/vocals) of Jet, live on stage @ Shoreline Amphitheater, Mountain View, September 11, 2005

Jet, the four boys from Melbourne, can ROCK. If you have never seen them play and think real rock 'n' roll is dead you are highly mistaken. With hard driving drums and lead guitar that never stops, they tear through eardrums. As "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" started to ring out of their mouths the fans began to scream. They pulled no punches on stage with great sound and lighting, and their performance isn't so bad either...

2. Liam and Noel Gallagher of Oasis, live on stage @ Shoreline Amphitheater, Mountain View, September 11, 2005

Contrary to what you may have heard, Oasis is still alive and they're definitely kick-in. As the Gallagher brothers walked on stage and the screams of their thousands of fans rang out, you could see in their eyes that they were ready to play. They performed some fan favorites like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger" as well as some of their new music.

3. Royksopp, live on stage @ Mezzanine, San Francisco September 14, 2005

Royksopp is one amazing creation, especially since it's only just two guys: Torbjörn Brundtland and Svein Berge. To see them create this live on stage is one amazing thing, with simple melodies that drive you to dance and lyrics that make you think. Their sophomore album "The Understanding" is one wicked thing; it's a living, breathing being that you must see live. I have to say the lighting is some of the most amazing that I have seen in a very long time although it was impossible to shoot.
