SF Station Blows It Up

I have to say watching the return of the Pea Pods, otherwise known as the Black Eye Peas to there roots is a great experience. If you don't know when they preform as the Pea Pods its all about the free flow. There is no structure just pure beats and simple words. With William at the helm it was more like an orchestra than a hip hop group, with every word a note and every beat a string. Seeing them in a small and intimate venue is also a blast with fans ready to do anything at there command.

2. Cut Chemist, live on stage @ The Independent, San Francisco August 13, 2005

Cut Chemist is not only a DJ but one of the minds behind The Jurassic 5. He has an ability to create music out of any sound and a talent for a arranging it into something that will make you dance. People stared at his every move and reacted to every beat as if he was God.

These are local boys making it good with the their honky-tonk country punk sound. Following in the steps of Hank Williams III with twang guitar and simple lyrics that speak about their lives and the lives of their generation.
