The Abhinaya Dance Company of San Jose comes to the Cabrillo Crocker Theater for their newest production, "Gandhi." This dance-theater production presents a vivid portrayal of Gandhi's life, his inspirational encounters, and events that led him to becoming a world figure. Through the classical dance style of Bharatanatyam, "Gandhi" depicts the man's childhood fears, the temptations of his youth, his struggles in South Africa, his civil disobedience movement against the British in India, and his untiring efforts to unify the religious groups in India.
