MarinScapes Fine Art Exhibit & Benefit

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Escalle Winery (see times)
MarinScapes Reimagined is a uniquely Marin event – one that celebrates regional variations, Bolinas to Mount Tamalpais and includes the rustic ambiance of the historic Escalle Winery, Marin’s first winery which is transformed into an indoor-outdoor gallery. The venue, not commercially available to the public, dates back to the late 1800s and is surrounded by wooded hills at the edge of a horse pasture near charming downtown Larkspur.

Four days of art and philanthropy kick off with The Opening Night Gala on Thursday June 20 offering a sneak preview of the exhibit for art aficionados, patrons and sponsors. The Gala will feature dining al fresco by local favorite Sage Catering, followed by an exciting live auction all for the benefit of Buckelew Programs. Advance tickets are required for the Opening Night Gala (5:30 to 9:30 pm) on June 20 and are $175 - $300 or $1,750 for an exclusive table of 10.

A Meet the Artists Reception on Friday, June 21 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm offers the public the opportunity to meet, in person, many of the artists including those from Seager/Gray gallery as they share the stories of creation, process, and inspiration. Wine and hors d’oeuvres complete the experience. Tickets are $25 and available online.

The art show continues on Saturday and Sunday, 12 - 6pm. Tickets are $20.

Day three begins with a special presentation prior to the general admission opening. “Investing in Fine Art: a Beginner’s Guide” presented by Donna Seager will take place on Saturday, June 22 at 11 am.

On Sunday, June 23 at noon, visitors will have the opportunity to hear from popular MarinScapes artist Tom Killion as he presents “New Meets Old in Japanese-Style Woodcut Printmaking.”

Advance reservations for both presentations are recommended and available online.
