Organizers for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have revealed the much anticipated 2019 music lineup. This year, the headliners are rapper Childish Gambino, psychedelic rockers Tame Impala, and the pop heroine Ariana Grande.

The two-weekend festival in the Southern California desert town of Indio takes place April 12th – 14th and April 19th – 21st.

General admission and VIP passes go on sale this Friday, January 4 at 11am.

The first night’s headliner, Childish Gambino, is the hip-hop alter ego of entertainer Donald Glover. He will be followed up the next day by a closing set from Tame Impala, who hopefully have new music coming soon and will have no problem blasting guitar waves with trippy visuals across the massive main stage crowd. Ariana Grande will be both the youngest Coachella headliner as well as the fourth female artist to do so; joining Björk, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé.

Other noteworthy acts confirmed to play at the event this year include representatives from all genres. From electronic authorities like Bassnectar, DJ Snake, and Diplo, to rock groups such as Weezer and CHVRCHES. There are also solid hip-hop talents like Kid Cudi, Anderson .Paak and Wiz Khalifa, in addition to sensational singer-songwriters such as Kacey Musgraves and Maggie Rogers.

There were some early rumors of Kanye West and Justin Timberlake as headliners, but after some initial backlash, those bookings never materialized.

Now we anxiously wait until March for the release of the Do LaB stage lineup.
