Jazz Fest 2017 Lineup Announced with Stevie Wonder, Lorde, Trey Anastasio and Over 150 Cuban Artists

Organizers for the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival, known succinctly as Jazz Fest, revealed the musical lineup for the two-weekend festival. Performing at this year’s 47th annual edition, which runs April 28 to May 7, are headliners Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, King of Leon, and Lorde.

Also scheduled to play this year are acoustic rock group Dave Matthews Band, pop act Maroon 5, rapper Snoop Dogg, alt-rock group Alabama Shakes, local prodigy Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Earth, plus multi-genre act Wind & Fire, alternative rockers Wilco, singer-songwriter Darius Rucker, and hip-hop talent NAS with guests The Soul Rebels, an eight-piece New Orleans based brass ensemble.

$65 early bird tickets for the festival are on sale now, price set to increase to $70 on Feb 15th.

Each year, the Cultural Exchange Pavilion at the center of Jazz Fest highlights music, art demos, and tasty foods. This year will highlight over 150 Cuban artists after tensions between the United States and Cuba subsided in 2016.
