FanFest: V-Day for Those in Love with the Giants

Now that the Super Bowl is officially in the rear view mirror, San Francisco residents can get excited about the arrival of the Giants baseball season – starting with FanFest 2016. Giants fans can get an early start on Valentine’s Day activities by attending the free, annual event on Saturday, February 13 from 10am until 3pm.

There will tons of fun sights and things to do for attendees of all ages. Current players and members of the coaching staff will talk about the off-season and the 2016 season to come with flagship radio station KNBR on the main broadcast stage. Anyone can ask the players questions during the Q&A session. Relax and enjoy the live interviews from the “good” seats.

The field will be open to walk or play catch. Outside at the Fan Lot, people can get their face painted. There will be opportunities to take photos with three World Series trophies from 2010, 2012 and 2014 seasons at Promenade section 140-144 and below the scoreboard. Check out the Giants Memorabilia display at the Club Level section 216. See a map below for activity locations.

Expect there to be long autograph lines, so be sure to enjoy all the other great events and experiences offered throughout FanFest in the meantime. Visit the View Level for spectacular views of the field and the bay. Sit back and enjoy the Fashion Show on top of the Giants Dugout and check out the new gear from the Giants Dugout Store between Mays and O’Doul Gates, as well as the on-field tent. Visit the @Cafe to get a photo taken with a player and post it to social networks. Stop by the Giants Highlight Theater to watch top moments from past seasons as well as popular G-casts.

Most excitingly, single game tickets for 2016 regular season Giants games go on sale starting Saturday at FanFest via the ticket windows and the visitor’s dugout.
