Best Places to Watch Super Bowl 50 in the SF Bay Area
Even if you don’t cheer for the Denver Broncos, the Carolina Panthers, or enjoy football, the Super Bowl is the biggest American sporting event and the second largest eating (and drinking) holiday after Thanksgiving. With Super Bowl 50 taking place in the Bay Area this year at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Sunday, February 7, San Francisco and the surrounding areas have countless bars and restaurants that will make for great viewing locations.

Denver Broncos fans should immediately try their best to pack inside this place, known as the unofficial Bay Area Broncos sports bar with pub-grub & dancing.
Greens Sports Bar

This no-frills, Irish style watering hole is the cozy home for Carolina Panthers fans, offers wide range of beers and spicy Bloody Marys, along with pool tables and video game machines.

Self-described fusion experiment combines a modern taqueria with a cozy sports environment and burrito or tacos that come “Nick’s way” (adding sour cream, guacamole, and beans).

Gastropub offers a wide range of brews and simple eats in a spacious sports bar with a lounge area and pool table.
Pete’s Tavern
128 King St. – SoMA
Large restaurant and bar across from AT&T Park has 20 TVs, high ceilings, a huge U-shaped bar in the middle, and an upstairs seating area.
Hi Tops
2247 Market St. – Castro / Upper Market
Gym-themed gay bar large enough to accommodate big crowds, supplies swift service and drinks, plus they will have plenty of TVs tuned to the big game.

24 Willie Mays Plaza – SoMa
Attached to AT&T Park, this causal setting has television screens throughout the restaurant, a large bar area, plus beer, cocktails, wine and savory bar bites.
