Bad news for Lou Reed fans, the former Velvet Underground front man cancelled all of his California shows, including appearances in San Francisco and Coachella.
In addition to Coachella, Reed was scheduled to perform at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles before making his way to Northern California for Shows at The Warfield on April 14 and Golden State Theatre in Monterey on April 16.
Few details were released about the cancellations, outside of this message on the Orpheum Theatre website: “This show has been cancelled due to unavoidable complications.” We’ll post more details as they arrive.
