Another Bowling Alley For SF?

First it was Lucky Strike, which opened across the street from AT&T Park. Then it was the Mission Bowling Club. But is a third bowling alley possibly moving to the Richmond District?

According to the Richmond SF Blog, a reader tipped them off to the fact that a representative from the recently shuttered Serra Bowl in Daly City was checking out the former Delano’s Market space on the corner of 27th Avenue and Geary Street recently.

Serra Bowl closed its doors last month after being an integral part of the community for just over 50 years.

According to their Facebook page, they have asked people for suggestions on a new location in San Francisco.

“Here is your opportunity to help us out. We are looking for a building large enough to build a new Bowling Alley in the greater San Francisco area. The building needs to have at least 20 thousand and up to 50 thousand sq.ft. with plenty available parking. The cost to lease needs to be no more than $1.00 a sq.ft. per month. Please reply if you know of such a space available.”

Updates to come.

Please put it at 27th and Geary. That will really be great for the neighborhood. It’s a family neighborhood and the place will be packed, plus if you add in a nice sports bar, snacks, some video games, you’ll make a lot of money. It’s near several schools, a cafe. It will add vibrancy to the community.
