Save the dates. Organizers of San Francisco’s Outside Lands Music Festival have announced that the 5th annual event will be taking place in Golden Gate Park from August 10-12.
The event, which brings some of the best music acts each year, along with a great selection of food and wine from local restaurants and purveyors, is annually attended by thousands. According to a report by San Francisco State University, the 2011 event generated more than $60 million for San Francisco’s economy, created hundreds of jobs and also brought $1.45 million to San Francisco’s Recreation and Park Department.
Although no music acts have been announced yet, a limited number of Eager Beaver ticket packages go on sale on Friday, March 16 at 12 p.m.. The three-day passes cost $165.
Expect plenty of announcements from Ranger Dave (Twitter @sfousidelands) in the coming months.
