Celebrate With a Margarita

February 22 is National Margarita Day, a day to enjoy the wonderful libation that has been around for decades. Here’s a few San Francisco spots where you can get a glass or pitcher and celebrate.

Tres: With a bevy of tequila in house, Tres offers up a number of different options with the goal to highlight the character of 100% blue agave tequila. Located at 130 Townsend Street.

Mosto/Tacolicious: There are two Tacolicious franchises. But the newest in the Mission is connected to its offshoot, Mosto, a tequila bar that features a book of over 300 tequilas to choose from. Mission location is at 741 Valencia Street.

Tommy’s: Tommy’s calls itself “the world’s best tequila bar,” so naturally, they have damn good margaritas as well. Tons of options with the seemingly endless tequila list. Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant is located at 5929 Geary Boulevard.

Tropisueño: Tropisueño offers more than 80 100% blue agave tequila. The margarita menu is very unique with an ode to the Savory Cocktail book. Located at 75 Yerba Buena Lane.

Mamacita: Mamacita offers several different choices from the classic (la Mamacita, el Cadillaco) to the unique (pomegranate, quince). Located at 2317 Chestnut Street.

These are just a few of the spots serving up margaritas. Where’s your favorite spot? Let us know and enjoy!!
