With a simple black-and-white image with his name, Apple confirmed on its homepage that co-founder Steve Jobs passed away today.
The message from a webpage dedicated to Jobs on the Apple site says it all: “Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being.”
