Brooklyn-based Das Racist blew up in 2008 with their viral track “Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell” and a Beastie Boys-meets-Punjabi culture mash. Since then, the band has steadily grinded out a larger following. With it’s official debut album Relax scheduled for release September 13, it should be a big year for the trio. Two mixtapes are also available for free on the group’s website.
