Outside Lands: Summer Pairing Series

Everybody knows that Outside Lands is THE event of the summer in San Francisco. But what you might not realize is that the festival is sponsoring a Summer Pairings Series going on throughout July and August to celebrate the food, wine and music of the Bay Area.

This Sunday, July 24th (where the hell has this month gone?!), starting at 7:30PM Tres Sabores Winery up in Rutherford is hosting an evening of ‘carnival-inspired bites’ accompanied by their masterful Sauvignon Blanc and a delectable Zinfandel that they call ¿Porqué No?–’cause, hey, why not?

The food is provided by SF’s own Straw (203 Octavia) and will feature a hearty, chipotle BBQ pulled pork sandwich with blackberry coulis. I don’t even know what coulis is, but it sounds amazing! Vegetarians: fear not, there will be a bevy of Moroccan carrots, olive tapenade, chevre and fresh citrus slaw to suit all your dietary restrictions.

…And don’t forget the tunes! The event is highlighted by the screening of an unannounced music documentary. Who knows what surprises are in store? The only thing known for sure is that the event is limited to 50 guests, so secure your tickets today by e-mailing [email protected] . Everything is included for the modest price of $35. Click here for directions and remember that the event is 21 and over and no outside alcohol will be permitted. It’s definitely worthy of a scenic drive up to Napa this weekend, and a great way to get yourself amped up for the world-renowned Outside Lands Festival just a few short weeks away!
