Lights Down Low kicks off a summer of loud parties this Friday night at SOM with a solid lineup of DJs including headliner Dave Nada, the creator of moombahton, a new genre taking the world by storm.

The name moombahton is a mashup deriving from Afrojack’s remix of Silvio Ecomo & Chuckie’s “Moombah” track and the word “reggaeton” and is pronounced similarly.
