  1. Hey! How do we find out who won the tickets? : )

  2. Thank you so much SF station! I’m so excited!

  3. THANK YOU for all of the great stories. A winner has been selected. Check back for more giveaways soon!

  4. The best road trip I’ve ever been on is the one I’m about to go on this weekend once I win the tickets to LIB! Spontaneous adventure- here I come!

  5. Myself and three of my closest friends packed up our gear and left town at midnight on a last-minute road trip to the ocean. We arrived at the beach four hours later and sat huddled together with a big blanket on the beach and waited to watch the sun rise.

  6. Probably to late for this but heres my story anyway. Traveled by myself from California to last years Rainbow gathering in pensylvania and got myself a puppy Didn’t have any money to get there and back, but I managed. After I got there the rainbow family took good care of me. Met a couple of people that had the cutest dog in the world, happened to have a liter out there in the middle of the woods, they offered one of the puppy’s to me and I couldn’t resist, my puppy has grown into a little terror but I still love him all the same.

  7. My memorable road trip was last year on my way to lighning in a bottle with my mom, my sister and my best friend. I got a speeding ticket on hwy 101 going 92mph, my sister accidentally locked the keys in our car at a truck stop…and the car was running (OOOPSIES!), then an hour after we were back on the road my mom remembered she left her purse (of all things) at the counter of the same truck stop. Because we had already gotten a late start on Friday we decided it would be best to get hotel in the grapevine and get to LIB really early saturday. Woke up early Saturday, got ready as fast as we could and went to leave and the car was gone…….YEP, GONE !!! My bestfriend’s boyfriend came to pick us up . It was worse two days of my life. Car was found in perfect condition at mc donald’s parking lot three days later and i ended up taking a bus by myself to get it (save that story for another time) ….nothing missing except small amount of money and electronic devices and they filled taknk up with gas. We didn;t make it to LIB bc all of our clothes, camping stuff, etc. was in the car. Worst two days of my life but we laugh about it now and everytime i think it can;t get any worse i remind myself that at least i am not stuck at a hotel in middle california with out a car or clothes.

The first time I came out west was for a festival in Yosemite or very near it, strawberry festival. must of been ‘07. Was the thing that convinced me to move out to the west coast. Even though I got my bag stolen at strawberry festival Something bout the combination of people and the venue made me never want to leave California. Of course I had to get my things :) but I got everything arranged and 4 months later I and a couple of friends moved out here and haven’t looked back since. Doubt I’m going to met the dead line for this but id love to go. Awesome site you guys got!

  9. Yes, so many.
28 hr bus ride across the African savanna.
Driving with a buddy & his dog in his old pickup truck through the mountains of Oaxaca.
A non-stop roadtrip with 2 friends from Santa Barbara to Glacier Ntnl Park in Montana.
Crazy road trips down to Tiajuana & Baja Mexico. Every journey to Black Rock city is also memorable…

  10. Does a flight to Rio count as a “road trip”? I met a spectacular guy in December and as I learned he was up for adventures, I suggested hopping on a plane in February to see LCD Soundsystem in Rio. Knowing we wouldn’t be able to catch their last show ever in NYC later in the year, this was our last chance to see them perform live. Thousands of miles later, including some of them mile-high, we founds ourselves at a small venue amongst travelers from South America. Epic trip!

  11. Probably would have to be a small Festival I went to last June. Friend called me up maybe 3 days before the Festival. Desperately looking for a ride, since his bailed the week before. I guess everybody was busy that weekend, anyway the gods were smiling on me that week. Because I had nothing to do and was looking for something adventurous. 72 straight hours of music? check.

Went to my friends house the night before so we could get an early start the next morning. Sadly my Car was broken into and I had My clothes for the weekend stolen. He was nice enough to leave me my Toys for the weekend as well break the smaller window of my car. But did he have to take my piece of shit stereo? I suppose it was karmic Justice for the phenomenal weekend to come. After I got to the Festival everything was fantastic. Good Music Good People. Can’t wait to meet up with all the people I met last year and catch up. With any Luck I’ll be able to make some new friends this year at Lightning in a bottle!

  12. My most memorable road trip would have to be when me and 10 other friends (mostly guys) drove to Minnesota from San Francisco. Not only did we drive about 2 days across America, but it was in a converted school bus. We called her “Old Blue” and she was amazing. She barely made it over hills and mountains and we would end up in the most rural areas ever, stuck. We were pulled over (twice) for going too slow, or for probably having a bunch of 20 somethings going crazy in the back window. We picked up the most hilarious stranger (after we had been stopped for the second time) who has become one of my good friends. I got to drive this mighty heft school bus across the South Dakota/Minnesota border.. best experience of my life.

  13. It was last summer – almost exactly a year ago – that two of my friends and I decided to embark on a cross-country extravaganza in my beat-up, half dead ’95 Camry. We began out of my hometown of Tallahassee, Florida, and I remember distinctly on the first day, how jittery we were with excitement and nerves. None of us had ever quite undertaken an endeavor such as this before – and even at the very beginning, I think we could tell it was going to be a life altering experience. Thus began an amazing three week roadtrip during which we stumbled upon abandoned tourist traps and tiny model train cities, camped in the wilderness outside of the grand canyon (and I heard my first coyote howl), went to strip clubs on Bourbon street, cliff-jumped outside of Austin, climbed a mountain in New Mexico, gawked at petroglyphs at Bandolier national monument, did Hollywood, did Vegas, did San Francisco …and even made it through a break-up and a break-down. On the last day we were together, as we basked in our collective memories and the love we had accrued for one another, we came back to my car to find it broken into – to find everything that we’d had in there stolen. At the time, I was devastated, of course, but now, looking back, it seems almost perfect that our crazy roadtrip should end with such an event. All that we lost was material possessions – and we were left with memories and friendships that will last far longer than any article of clothing or GPS could ever dream to. Though it’s been almost a full year since we began our trek, the memories from it are still as vivid as they were last August – and I am so grateful that I got to experience such an adventure in my lifetime. Now… if only I could experience another adventure this weekend! :}

  15. i couldn’t afford to fly from seattle to visit the guy i was dating in LA, so i decided to ride with some random people from craigslist rideshare. my first ride was a polish psychiatrist who instructed me to “drive however fast i wanted” and “play whatever i wanted”. he lectured me about vodka for a few hours, then put in earplugs and fell asleep. so i drove his mini at 110+ around curvy roads blasting drum and bass. that started to seem much more typical with my next ride, who was a hippie in a bus and i learned that he made his living cultivating psychedelic mushrooms. oh dear. the bus was shaking and i was melting from the heat and i feared that it would suddenly break down and he and dog and i would be stuck by the side of the road. we ended up at a place called “the pub at the end of the universe”…

  16. I went on a road/ferry trip in the Southern Gulf Islands in Canada with my best friend. It was one of the most secluded and beautiful places i’ve ever been. We went to 6 different islands and drove around each day and would take ferries to the next one. We saw indian reservations, black slugs, beaches where the “sand” was all broken clam shells, amazing sunsets, mind-blowing orange moon rises, and tons of different critters! One of the coolest parts was that on 3/6 of the islands we were the only people camped there right on the ocean front.

    It was romantically amazing…

  17. I went on my first roadtrip with a childhood friend in the 90s up the Pacific Coast Highway. We found private shell littered beaches that we had to cross fields of cows to get to, fed apples to horses on the side of the road, and played whistle pops along to Weird Al Yankovich which left the windshield splattered with bits of candy. It was on this trip that I discovered that parts of California when you get deep enough are not that dissimilar than the less populated back country states. All in all the trip was full of movie worthy moments, especially considering the whole point was so my friend could meet a girl he had met online in an attempt to lose his virginity. The story had a happy ending. ;)

  18. My most memorable road trip was going to Reggae Rising 09′ festival my friend and I traveled from pasadena to humboldt all night with no sleep. We stopped in pasadena to get coffee then hit the road, we were half way up and we got pulled over for speeding cause my friend’s spedometer was broken and we were rushing to make it to the next bathroom stop. We got a ticket and went on our way, half asleep. We stopped to eat at Denny’s and ordered a ton of food an coffee, and then took a cat nap right at the booth which didn’t seem to help much, haha by the time we got to the festival we had to snag a spot and set up which was difficult for us 2 girls after barely sleeping for 24 hours..haha We found a spot, and started to set up , but then got yelled at by some guys who said that they were saving the space, my friend argued back and then continued to set up and after we were done, we went to talk and made up. The rest of the festival we became best friends with the angry camp neighbors and had a lovely time. There was reggae music and river floating all weekend. We headed home and stopped at stinson beach on the way back to relax for a night , had a beautiful time and made it back to pasadena. It was a wild trip, but in the end it was worth it.

  19. My best road trip, was when my husband and I went to Europe for the weekend. We got a $99.00 round trip ticket to Munich. I called the hubby and said let’s go. We only made one nights resveration for the night we arrived. The rest we bought a map and pretty much took to the open road. Didn’t know where we were going just continued. We had lunch in Germany and Dinner in Italy. We then went to Venice for a few hrs. We had to make it back to the airport for a flight we had the next morning. We were in Italy and we drove through the swiss alps in the middle of the night to make it back to Munich for a flight home. We finally made it back to the airport. We thought there would be plenty of places to sleep at a hotel nearby. No luck just a couple of hotels that did not have any room. So we slept in the car and drove to the airport the next morning. We loved the car we rented it was a diesel volkswagon TDI and we ended up buying the same car later that year in California. Wow what a great trip. We have been all over the world, but the most fun was this weekend road trip that spanned several countries. Two crazy young kids hitting the open road and seeing amazing stuff along the way.

  20. My kids and I were touring the Irish countryside looking for these out of the way farms and bed and breakfasts where we had arranged to stay. A lot of the roadsign where in Gaelic and there were no stop signs, just round-abouts. We made a lot of circles around those round-abouts trying to figure out where to go. I was driving a manual for the first time in years and the stick shift was on my left! I kept forgetting that cars drive on the left side of the road in Europe so I had to have my kids chant to me “keep to the left, keep to the left, keep to the left”. We got in a lot of traffic jams… with SHEEP! They just ran around the country side and into the roads as they pleased. Honking did nothing. We did end up finding our friends farm, and we had an amazing time riding their horses and playing with their new litter of puppies.

  21. Most memorable road trip…
When my parents managed to fit all 7 of my brothers and sisters (including myself) into a minivan. We ended up in sequoia national park, where we camped, had our food supply rummaged by bears, swam in a water hole inhabited by a water snake, and slid down a waterfall that was thickly lubricated by algae.
    Fun times.

  22. Chico, CA – Seattle, WA – Whistler, BC – Vancouver, BC. Spring break 2005. Small Highlight- hooked up with a Canadian girl that had no large intestine

  23. my most memorable road trip was to last years underground sound festival…7+ hours in a little luggage cave in the back seat of a van, but i didnt care…it was amazing!

  24. While living in South AFrica, some friends and I rented a couple cars and took the interstate from Johannesburg down to Durban, followed by a long trip around Africa’s most southern coast all the way to Cape Town, with many stops along the way. Encountering stunning vistas, highway robberies, too many drinks, dodgy pool tables, and more than one flat tire (we went through three replacement rental cars!), it will not soon be forgotten :)

A couple of years back, before the border security got all crazy and passports were needed I went on a road trip with a few friends and one of their families, all of them being Mexican or Salvadorian. We had a crazy good time and it was quite fun me not understanding much of what was going on around me, but when we went to cross the border back into the US, they didn’t believe I was a citizen and almost didn’t let me back through. I was the only white person in the car.

My most memorable road trip was definitely to the Grand Canyon. First stop was Las Vegas for a wrap party, which lead to excessive drinking. We woke up late the next day and didn’t get to Havasu Hilltop until midnight. We decided to hike ten miles into the grand canyon at night since we knew the afternoon sun would be miserable. We got lost halfway but arrived to the village of Supai just before sunrise. The milky turquoise waterfalls of this Indian Reservation are unlike anywhere on earth. Unfortunately half way through the day, we were hit with a flash flood, and all the water turned to mud. I carried too much weight on my back on the hike down that I strained my knee so bad and had to take a helicopter out. It was a survival mission for sure, but so worth it, even for just the few hours we spent swimming in the waterfalls. I dream of the day I get to go back there again. <3

  27. My buddy and I rode our bmx bikes down the coast of California to Mexico along hwy1. We had backpacks and sleeping bags and we renegade camped wherever we decided to stop for the night. Unforgettable.

I just returned from the most epic roadtrip of my life. Me and a wonderful friend just spent 5 months adventuring around East Africa. We made it to Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania & The Congo!! It was a total blast, we were living on $10-15 for everything, Africa on a budget was a struggle to say the least! We traveled using ‘Matatus’ which are Isuzu mini vans (you know the boxy old ones?) They take out all the seats and replace them with benches to fit 14 people in the van! Which would be reasonable, but they squeeze up to 30 squished humans at a time! Crazy roadtripping at its finest! It was a really special time spent with really beautiful people. I feel so blessed to be surrounded with such love everyday. It would mean the world to me and my friend to go to this wonderful festival.

    Peace!

  29. drove clear across colorado, utah, nevada and tahoe in my old honda with broken motor mounts and starter. every time i drove up a hill, the engine shook the whole car violently and every time we stopped we had to either park facing downhill or get out and pushstart it. never really dawned on me at that age to stop at a mechanic ; )

  30. Sadly, I haven’t been on an epic road trip, but I did take an exhaustingly long bus ride up the west coast. I can’t believe that’s our best form of public transportation! And how is almost everyone on the bus either stinky or creepy. Even if I do the ultimate ‘leave me alone’ (headphones, hat, and book) I still get bugged by creepy people! Although I have had some cool conversations, overall you just feel dirty and exhausted once you finally get to your destination. Craigslist rideshare is the way to go. Cheaper and way better.

  31. Most memorable road trip:

SF to Tahoe with friend and puppy. Friend got caught cheating gambling and then carted off to Reno to jail. All the next day I spent getting his bail together and springing him. 5pm that next day it starts dumping snow. I drive back to Tahoe, but we stop to get some groceries then he offers to drive the rest of the way to our cabin just minutes away. At the very first stop light he gets into an accident…some appreciation.

  32. finished a big 2 day volleyball tournament in dallas, then drove solo straight to los angeles with nothing but a 3hr nap in the car in the desert. finally arrived and got a call an hour later to train with karch kiraly and scott ayakatuby the next day. showed up at 8am the next day and couldn’t even hit over the net for 2 matches until ak gave me some kind of secret drink that i swear had cocaine or something in it, and we won the next two games.

  33. I’ve been on some pretty crazy road trips but none of them mean more to me than when I was younger and went on a road trip from the midwest to the west coast with my dad and two brothers. It was a normal trip of a packed car of siblings annoying the crap out of each other while driving the parent crazy until our car’s engine randomly decided to give out and die and we were stuck in the middle of nowhere (Wyoming). We all freaked out because we had no service to call anyone but then we started paying attention to the beautiful nature that was surrounding us. We ended up finding a stream and hiked around. The scenery was beautiful and it made a bad experience into part of a good one. Us as a family really came together and enjoyed one another for the first time despite our age differences and that I was the young annoying sister. That by far was the most rewarding road trip.

Two weekends ago traveling up to Sacramento for Emissions 2011 music fest had to top any road trip or weekend I’ve ever had in my life. I’m in Cali for a month visiting my brother who goes to school out here to get away from all the stresses and people I needed to be away from at home in Illinois and this trip honestly changed my life. I was surrounded by such amazing, loving people and at that moment I had never felt more in the right place, cared about, happy, and alive.

  35. My best Roadtrip was when my girlfriend and I decided to drive to Mexico from SF for the winter, stopping in LA for dinner a Japanese waiter gave us directions to a peyote shaman near Guadalajara. Well, we found him, tried some new medicines, enjoyed his sweat lodge and had the best time ever.

  36. Embarrassing as this is, given the catalyst: my most memorable road trip was occasioned by String Cheese Incident’s tour in the summer of 1999. I caught seven mid-west shows with a good friend, who became an extremely close friend (and still is) during the course of the trip. The trip enabled us to grow up together.

My friends and i got in the car at 4am to leave from la to vegas for the billboard music awards. We break down in victorville and aaa tows us to barstow when we asked for baker. at 9am when the mechanic opens we get an estimate to repair the car (500 dlls) and we dont know what to do. When we realize where were at we call aaa and they send another tow truck (arrives around 1pm) and takes us to a friends place in vegas. We arrive at 2:30pm when we had to be at mgm grand by 1:30….somehow miraculously we are able to get in. Getting back we cant get a bus until 10pm and thats what we are currently waiting on to gt back to la. Our car is in vegas waiting to gt repaired….all in strive all for fun!

  38. 10 hours to Vegoose Festival in Halloween costumes- to Vegas in 07′ (Rage Against the machine, MIA, Daft Punk, Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, People Under The Stairs…) Packed sedan with mac photobooth distorting our faces in the backseat along the way…

  39. My most memorable road trip was driving up to Tofino, B.C. from Santa Cruz, CA. and back. We drove up in big old pick up truck, and stopped in little towns all along the west coast on our way. Once we got to Washington, blackberries were everywhere – even all along the side of the road. I swear our lips were stained blue for a week. At the Olympic Peninsula, we drove onto the fairy boat that would take us to Vancouver island. The Air was so fresh, and my sister and I went to the gift shop to buy some Canadian candy to enjoy while looking for Orcas from a bench outside. After driving for three days, this fairy ride was very rewarding. The final stretch of the drive from Victoria to Tofino was beautiful. It was dark for the last two hours or so, and we kept a look out for cougars and black bears on the road, but didn’t see any that night. When we finally reached our little A-frame destination we were exhausted, but couldn’t have been happier about the time we had spent together in the days prior.

I feel like the journey home always goes a little quicker, but we allowed ourselves time to explore the Seattle area and took an extra night to try and make it last.

You know you have been on a good adventure when the only thing you do when you get home is fall down down on your bed and forget you’ve returned in your sleep. It makes for a fun little surprise in the morning until you get grounded again. :]

  40. My most memorable road trip was definitely last summer. My father, his new wife, and two of her girlfriends + me all went to Burning Man. We had to pick up an RV, and then my dad & stepmom had to drive it from LA to Nevada.

We then had a fantastic week at Burning Man. However, on the way back to LA, my dad was rather exhausted while driving. He pulled into a bank parking lot. There was a large overhang that he somehow didn’t see. He ran straight into it, shattering the windshield. Needless to say, we had an interesting journey home.

  41. Most memorable road trip was in the summer vacation that I went to the beach in Brazil called Maranduba. Went me, my mother, my father, my younger brother and my grandmother…I remember like it was today, my mother with my grandmother singing and doing food, me and my brother playing together, my father playing harmonica for us. And the special moment was the walking I gave with my grandmother on the beach holding hands we talked, laugh, we sat in the sand and lean on a tree trunk and suddenly a silence came we felt the breeze of the wind hitting our face, the sound of the waves calmed our souls and we slept for over two hours holding hands. When we woke up we looked each other and we understand each other at the same time, our soul was so in peace seemed that we had traveled to another universe where peace and happiness prevailed. After a few months my grandmother died and this was one of the best moments I spent with her and I never forget…<3

  42. My most memorable road trip was the one I took from San Diego to British Columbia and back. Three weeks by myself with no obligations. One great day was the one I spent on a 7 mile beach in Oregon that required some hiking through sand dunes to get to. I saw only one other person the entire day. One great night was the one I spent camping in the redwoods next to the campfire. Had to keep it burning all night because it was the only way to keep the raccoons at bay. Their eyes were shining all around. Creepy, but kinda fun. The memorable is often — the unexpected.

I would have to say my most memorable road trip was 2 years ago, heading from chicago to Rothbury Michigan… This epic adventure began a month before i even knew what the festival was. I worked at a pizza restaurant and was blessed to come across an unknown(at the time) life time friend. She was the one who introduced me to the music that started me on this rainbow rocket towards inner peace. Pretty lights, Lotus, Disco biscuits, and The string cheese incident is where my life began. I had never heard sounds life these ever in my life and was wrapped up in an electronic heaven that has never made me feel more in tune with everything around me. I had began to listen to them more and more, falling deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole. I was in love. I needed more. So i found out about these music festivals that went on, unaware of anything of this sort. Bonaroo was the first large scaled music festival i heard of, and that year it had quite a good lineup. I had my heart set on attending until at the very last moment, about 2 weeks before Rothbury, I saw the lineup and KNEW we were making the wrong choice. So i convinced my crew that Michigan was the place to be, and I don’t think ive ever been so right! The journey to get there alone was, well out of control. Not only did we leave later than expected, one of my buddies couldn’t find his ticket any, typical. So the search like mad men began until we finally came across it, in his back pocket. We were finally off on the road, thrilled that this drive was under 2 hours. We had made it about half way until someone had to use that bathroom. So we all stop to get out and stretch while we wait for our buddy. My other friend scrambles in the back to get to some food before we take off again. Our friend comes back so we all get back in to go yonder with our journey. We are driving on the express way, going about 70, for about 20 minute when i notice to my left is a woman in another car waving her arm up and down trying to tell me something. I jus laughed at first because I had no idea what was happening until i realized she was trying to tell me that the bed of our truck was open!! In a panic state I yell for my friend to get off on the next exit so we can check if any damage had been done. Sure enough, 2 of our coolers with most of our drinks and food, and 2 of our back packs, vanished. This was very devastating at the time but everyone still had their tickets, which was all that mattered. We finally make it to the fest and when we did i almost fainted. Overwhelmed by the people, the music, THE PEOPLE, i couldnt do a thing but stop, take a deep breath, and tell myself tht this was my life for the next 4 days. and let might i add, that after attending Rothbury, i knew what life was suppose to be. Sorry for the length, I got super into it haha. I love LIB <3

  44. Having no money, I was planning on sneaking into Earthdance Festival 09 with my best friend, but she got sick at the last minute and couldn’t go. I was at a friends apartment in Santa Rosa feeling sorry for myself that i didn’t have a ride and couldn’t go, and he said, “I know a crew who is taking a bus up there, I can give them a call and see if they have room.” He called them and they said they were heading through Rosa right now, and if I wanted to hitch with them let them know (right now) so they could pull over. It was a split decision and I decided “yes! tell them to pull over.” One of my girlfriends at the apartment said she wished she could go but didnt have a ticket. I said I didnt have one either, come with me! So SHE packed her bags in 5 minutes and then we were out the door.

We met the crew at a gas station and we were unprepared for what welcomed us. It was a giant yellow school bus with the inside seats stripped out and replaced with beds, couches, hammocks, tables, rugs, good music, and crazy people! The bus was full of about 20 really awesome crazy people! We walked in and they said “Hey!!! New people!! Have a beer!!” We partied all the way up to Earthdance and slept at the front gates until they opened at 8 in the morning.

In the morning, the bus driver said “So, who actually has a ticket?” Half the hands went up. He said “Oh. Well, looks like the rest of you are going to have to get under some of this stuff in here and hide out until we get in. Everyone else, make lots of noise!!” The bus bounced into the campground and we all tumbled out and set up camp. We had just met these people but they offered us a spot to camp with them and we played and partied and hulahooped and danced and swam in the river and ate really bomb picnic food all weekend. Unfortunately I had a test on Monday so I had to leave Sunday night, so my girlfriend and I thumbed it back to Rosa and got a ride back with a really nice hippy lady who grew pot for a living. The whole weekend was an amazing expereicne and I will definitely have this memory for the rest of my life. I look forward to more roadtrips like this. : ) Thanks for reading.

  45. The most memorable road trip was when was a Student Ambassador and I travelled with 20 other students along the East Coast of Australia in a bus. The three weeks I spent there included Great Barrier Reef snorkeling, walking across the top of the Sydney Bridge, staying in the Outback on a family farm full of wild kangaroos and crocs, feeding wild dolphins at a marine reserve, breaking curfews, seeing an opera at the Sydney Opera house, and falling in love with Aussies. Hands down most epic roadtrip.

  46. My most memorable road trip was driving to Seattle from California. It took me 12 hours to drive to Seattle without sleeping. I found out that energy drinks make me itch and twitch. Driving the 12 hours made me have a great respect for my iPod and music in general. I had to get all new music by the time I reached Seattle.

  47. Most memorable road trip included few roads, as it was a safari by light plane through Uganda and Kenya with a good friend of mine from the UK… there’s a certain excitement about buzzing zebras and warthogs with the plane to get them off the runway!

  48. My friends from London came to America and we did a Cali road trip from North to South and back again in 5 weeks! Two twin London girls and me and my sister with a packed little Jetta. We showed them everything from river rafting in Tahoe, wine tasting in Sonoma, sight seeing in SF, camping in Big Sur, partying in SLO, beaching in Santa Barbra, clubbing in LA, and relaxing San Diego! It was road trippin’ at its finest!

  49. I attempted to drive a 1960 school bus to Bonnaroo from Santa Cruz with 10 other hooligans. We broke down twice in Utah, once in Nebraska, and for good in Oak Grove, Missouri. Three of us hitchhiked with a truck driver, greyhound’d, and eventually taxi’d to the festival. The other seven took a limo. The limo driver was a self proclaimed swinger…

  50. The most memorable road trip i’ve ever taken took place over 30 days in over 30 different states. my life long best friend and I took off with no idea where we were going and saw more then i thought possible. It definitely was the journey of a lifetime, opening my eyes to the difference in cultures and how diverse this country really is. it was dope

  51. After a month of secluded organic farming we caravaned in a small pickup truck and old VW bus named Paloma from a mountaintop in northern cali….destination: Mount Shasta….after being vortexed into the healthfood store parking lot for HOURS, our crew of 6 went on our way…after getting lost we made our way to a quiet hot springs resort-we snuck in at midnight under the light of the FULL MOON…after a silent soak we journeyed out toward a supposed fig tree down a trail in the back, 1st coming upon 2 elderly south americans singing and making ceremony for the day of the dead…we never found the fig tree but we saw a black bear running up the mountain before us under the light of the moon. After some renegade camping outside the gate of the place, we woke and journeyed on. We stopped at “the olive pit” for some olive shopping. In their parking lot, the side sliding door of Paloma completely fell off. A seemingly drunk homeless man stumbled up and provided us with the know-how and the piece of wire to secure the door back on temporarily…..we journeyed on….soon getting off the freeway for gas, to our surprise exiting straight into THE BUS BOYS, a VW bus graveyard, JUST the place we needed to get new hinges or whatever for the bus (etc)…deciding to return to the bus boys after our shasta adventures, we continued. Finally getting to shasta we set up camp on the side of the mountain…it was freezing cold and we ended up camping in the snow for 2 nights. Everyone agro and tired, we went back to town ((after Paloma wouldn’t start and we got a tow into town)), we got a cheap motel room and drank a bottle of Damiana liquor someone brought from mexico…..the next day we met a goddess who owned a dance studio who welcomed us into her hippie haven home and we all slept like babies on the floor next to the woodstove after sipping on hot veggie soup. Such a “welcome home family” experience….after a couple days of recovery and relaxation (and lots of tea and chocolate) my dear friend and I climbed into Paloma and ventured south back to teh Bus Boys. we camped out in their parking lot for 2 more nights as Paloma got revamped and loved up….the starbucks around the corner became our bathroom, living room and kitchen sink….Finally we made it back to San Francisco in time for Thanksgiving and CLASSIC SF adventures in a gypsy house called the lily pad, free t-giving lunch at cafe gratitude and fresh new sights and sounds……and on and on and on….am i still on that roadtrip??

  52. Last minute trip to Rosarito for the last spring break of my college career. Four days of typical college/Rosarito debauchery, including wedding crashing and one too many warnings not to go into town due to disappearing persons resulting from the organ trade. Fun times…all of which resulted in a month-long recovery process ;) Hoping to win these tix so that my road trip to LIB will prove all the wilder but a tad bit more classy.

  53. In April I went to Bhakti Fest in Joshua Tree and met a some amazing new friends. After the festival was over we wanted to continue our journey together, but didn’t know where we should go. 30 minutes later a man came up to my friend and gave her a flier with information about an upcoming yoga retreat. We decided to visit this magical boulder garden and have continued to come back to this beautiful desert oasis. Since this day we have been planning many more adventures together with Lightning in a Bottle being at the top of our list!

  54. headed to NY via plane out of reno when a friend called and had oregon country fair tickets and passes within an hour of the flight stopped rented a car and drove straight through mountains and up the i-5 to get to the fair instead with magic of shasta and musicians and artists leading the way

  55. Me and a few of my girlfriends were taking a trip up to the mountains to stay at our friend’s cabin for the weekend. As were all rockin out in the car, I look over and see some cuties in the car driving next to us. They notice us checking them out and they wave back, we all agree that we must get them to come chill with us so we frantically search the car for some paper and a pen to write them a little note. 5 minutes into the search for writing materials, my friend Ana pulls out her finished masterpiece… Written in bright red lipstick on a huge white Kotex it read, “COME TO OUR PAD!!!” with her number at the bottom. Needless to say, she never got a call from those boys. But we sure did get a good laugh out of it :)

  56. Hitched a ride from some friendly folks on a brightly colored bus o’ love.. asked if they’d be heading south; they said nope-headed north, but try your luck and come with us to see what destiny holds in store for ya.. the rest was kind of a blur, and then about a month later i found myself in the cali desert, with nothing to take from it but a bright colored t-shirt, no shoes, an epic beard, and a pretty changed sense of reality….. definitely not a wasted experience to say the least.

My best memorable road trip is actually a love story, not to be sappy. I had just moved back from Colorado and my best friend had set me up with one of his friends that had recently got out of a bad relationship. The first time we actually hung out was a road trip to LA on halloween. It was the four of us, all best friends heading out to LA for the craziest halloween of our lives. With a bunch of “goodies”, we headed out for los angeles, not even knowing this would be one of the best trips of our lives. From going to the west hollywood carnival on halloween to taking ecstasy and riding rollercoasters at six flags, we all had the times of our lives. And of course meeting my girlfriend who I am still dating because of that road trip. We both have a passion for music. We are in LOVE with pretty lights, mimosa, paintyraid and basically everyone that will be playing at LIB. We have been talking about going for the past couple of months but it doesnt look too good right now due to financial issues. We are setting on just buying a one day pass so we are able to just experience one day at LIB. But more then anything we BOTH would do anything to go.. I love music, I love everything that lightening in a bottle has to bring, and I love my girlfriend and this would be the coolest thing EVER that we both would be able to experience together.please please please pick us!!!

  58. BURNING MANNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!! The one and only:) Didn’t ask for work off, didn’t have the money, tickets completely SOLD OUT, and aching with such an utterly divine pain in my chest to GO! i had to go. I knew i needed to go. i needed to be there. something was urging me to go. i gave myself till 5 pm to find tickets, it was friday and i was leaving work. i was watching craigslist like a HAWK.. didnt put but 2 hrs into work that day.. but nothing, i mean NOTHING was coming through!! Those tickets were gone within SECONDS of people posting them!! my faith was diminishing. Finally, a girl with two tickets!! she couldnt go last minute and I NEEDED THEM. i was a foaming at the mouth, ravenous beast. Literally within seconds i emailed her, i was SURE i had them! 1 minute within her posting and me emailing, reply said: sorry! someone emailed me just before you and he’s coming to get them, happy burn! “Happy Burn?!?!?!?” i was crushed. that was it, all hope gone. my heart sunk into my gut and i felt like i was going to miss something that i knew was waiting for me, a truth, a gift. i lost my opportunity. ..3 minutes went by and right as i was about to give up on it all, i get a text. i open it and its a FRIGGEN PICTURE OF TWO BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED BURNING MAN TICKETS!!! My friend was the guy that had just bought the tickets from the same girl and my name was on one of them!!!!!!! I just about had a heart attack right there at work. Got home from work, strait up just threw anything/everything/stuff/not stuff/gadgets/toys/whatever we could find into the car, and high tailed our asses out of reno!!! we arrived at night (which i highly recommend) and our jaws dropped to the sand, our knees trembled with disbelief and our hearts felt HOME. we found a site, parked the car and just RAN, ran straight into that playa, following lights and beats and bikes and feet. our laughter guided us and our hearts warmed us, the playa was filling our souls with pure and utter contentment. we were there. and it was truly unreal. it was bliss. it was the most epic experience of my life. i will never EVER forget that burn. it was pure magic. and i was so deeply grateful. LAST MINUTE ROAD TRIPS ARE THE BEST ROAD TRIPS. forcing you to have no expectations.. just the pure experience and acceptance of each and every moment that we are. and allowing us to find joy in all that is provided. bless!

  59. My most memorable road trip was from LA to Arizona. It was super spontaneous, I drove w/my boyfriend to see Superstar DJ Keoki perform at a warehouse party. We made a pit stop on the way in the middle of the desert and I looked up at the sky; it was so clear, and I had never seen so many stars in my life. Magical is the best way to describe it.

  60. My most memorable roadtrip was on the way to a festival called Emissions. I went with a girlfriend and two guys from Russia we met earlier that month. The whole ride on the way there things were going wrong; we lost the paper with the directions on it at least three times, spilt tequilla all over our luggage, had to tie the trunk down with a rope because it randomly broke earlier that morning, and not to mention the language barrior struggles. The whole time things were going wrong, however, we were having a great time; swaping stories about the loss of our virginities, sharing philosophical insights about the world, talks about bad and good trips from drugs, and learning about each others cultures. This trip was perfectly difficult and made it that much more special.

  61. My most memorable roadtrip. Or the trip that comes to mind is my 08 trip to LIB. Peg leg chicks and panty hammocks.

  62. The most memorable road trip was this year. I saw Pendulum’s show at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA. Then right after the show, my friend and I followed them on tour to their next show they were playing, (the next night!) in Las Vegas, NV at the House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay. We just wanted to show Pendulum how much we loved their performance and how much we love them and had to see their last show for their North American Tour. :))) so much fun and the best un forgettable memories ever!!

  63. For my birthday, our plan was to drive to LA on Saturday morning fitting 5 people in my corolla to see Roksonix. Come 6am when it was time to leave on saturday morning, my friend gets to the car and tells me he invited another guy to come who had already bought his ticket and everything. I felt bad so I told him that we could just drive to the East bay (40 min from Santa Clara) and switch into my explorer instead. 30 min after we left, we had almost made it to the east bay when all of us started talking about how out of the way it was to go exchange cars…. next thing we knew, all of us, still pretty drunk from the night before, decided we could tough it out and go the 6 hours to LA with 6 ppl in the car. So we ditch the explorer idea and get on the road toward LA. An hour had passed when my friends started begging for McDonalds so I get off an exit and am waiting to turn at the light when a cop pulls up behind me. We were parked at the light, I wasnt doing anything wrong, so I just told one of the 4 in the back to get down. Next thing I know, the cop turns his lights on and is pulling me over. Obviously I started freaking out. I had 6 ppl in the car, open alcohol containers, and lets just say a variety of other things. I tell my friend in the back to lay across everyone’s lap and put a blanket over them. So I pull over and the cop asks me if I knew what was wrong. I told him no and he responded “you were on your phone”. I actually wasnt on my phone so I told him I wasnt but then he asked me how much I had had to drink (it was 7am at this point…) I told him nothing seeing it was so early yet he told me the car smelled like alcohol and asked if anyone else had been drinking. My friends replied “yeah last night” and the cop peered in looking around the back seat. Still saying nothing about the blanket situation, he made me do a flash light test with my eyes and took my license and registration back to his car. When he left, my friends and I were all frantic and decided that if we left a girl under the blanket I could be charged with “resisting arrest” so we have her get out from under the blanket and the four of them just sit back there quietly while we wait. The cop comes back, telling me I cant talk on my phone while driving and sends me on my way. We were all totally flustered about the situation because the cop was trying SO HARD to find something to get me in trouble for yet somehow luck was on my side and he never noticed the four ppl in the back. After that, we grabbed Mc Donalds, smoked a bit :) and were on our way to LA. Made it to LA (9 hours later because of traffic), went to Roksonix, slept, and left back to the bay area the next morning at 11. It was a crazy birthday and I’d DIE to go to lightning in a bottle especially to see love and light… if only my funds could afford it!

  64. Has to be my road trip back to NY from the playa in 2008 (our first year). We had plans to spend a night at the grand canyon on our way back but after breaking down on the playa, breaking down every time we stopped for food or potty time,a flat tire and a final break down right outside of Vegas, we accepted the fact that it was not going to happen. Despite 4 days in a very boring town with no way to get around, and a 3 day speed back to NY (for work) with the only leg room for two of us being in the drivers seat (kind of), we came home completely satisfied with a life time supply of playa dust!

  65. My most memorable road trip was last summer, me and my friends drove from our homes here in the bay to Disneyland! We were there for 3 days, we did some acid and had a blast! felt like we were kids again, and at the happiest place on earth!

  66. on a trip to the midwest, in the winter, we spun out on I80, in the middle of nebraska at 3:00am. after being stuck for over an hour, a truck driver pulled over & pulled us out with chains. the whole time i thought he’d be some nut job, but was actually very nice & wouldn’t even accept cash from us for his help. THAT was a hellava drive.

  67. Definitely exploring a huge amount of Arizona and Colorado 2 years ago. We packed up the car with camping gear and yummy food and started driving. I learned how to drive stick on this trip and took over the wheel for most of the drive (scary at first, but I totally got the hang of it). We saw so many beautiful places! Drove through huge mountain passes, listened to good music, met new people, played all day in nature, and visited some really awesome small towns. All worries seemed to disappear for those few days and we came back so refreshed and happy about life. :)

  68. being 17 and traveling from Berkeley to Eugene to see the Grateful Dead in 1993. “Me, I’m still on the road heading for another joint…”

  69. Most memorable road trip i had was a last minute cross country trip with no point or destination. an hour before we left we were trying to think of something epic to do for the weekend..so we packed our bags and headed to the road..the places we saw..the people we met..the things we did..it was by far the best thing i have ever done in my whole life. cant wait to do it again. :)

  70. I Hitched hiked from Northern California to Salem, Oregon with hiking bag stuffed full of festi gear and aircast on my ankle! Despite the injury, I was unwilling to forfeit for ticket to Emerg+n+see 2009. Since then, i’ve never regretted the experience! It was life changing!

  71. My most memorable road trip would have to be to and from the Wanderlust Festival last summer. On the way there, we got lost trying to decide which state we were going to be camping in, Nevada or California. Along with that, passing through border patrol multiple times within a short time frame probably seemed a bit sketchy. We finally got situated, enjoyed the weekend and headed home. On the way back, an entire small car filled with dirty, tired kids pooped from partying all weekend decided to stop off at the Yuba River for a swim. After hiking down massive rocks, I slipped on some gravel, leaving me barreling towards a friend, who had recently already been injured in his left leg, which had been swollen all weekend. After his swollen leg saved my life and a few cuts, scratches and bruises later, we decide its time to head home. Once reaching the area where we parked, we laughed to ourselves as a Prius is getting towed, in which we began our laughter too soon because come to find out, the car with everyones cell phones, cameras, wallets, camping equipment and fun supplies had been towed. We had no way of contacting anyone, none of us had money for a taxi or to get my car back, and were stranded in an area with little cellphone service. After trying to negotiate with a police officer, who turned out to be one of the rudest people I’ve ever come in contact with, we finally get the name of the towing company that had my car. Luckily, the same guy who towed my car was coming for his last pick up of the day, and was gracious enough to give me a ride to where my car was. Once we reached the shop the pain didn’t cease. Since the car was registered under my father, we had to get a hold of him in order to sign the car over to me to be able to have it opened in order to get a wallet to go deduct money in order to pay for the tow. Luckily, a friend who had come with me happened to have the correct amount of money in an account and a driver from the shop graciously drove him to the nearest small town to find an ATM and ended up taking him to four different ATMs in order to get the correct amount of money. By that time, the shop had closed, and should not have been allowing any of this to happen at all. He finally returned with the correct amount of money, the owner of the shop offered us a beer and pulled the car around for us to be able to take off. We finally had the car, drove back to the river where the rest of our crew was, picked them up and started home. On the highway on the rest of the way home, we almost got into a car accident on both ends; I almost rear ended someone, and someone almost did the same to me. But thankfully we made it home safe and sound and have survived for another summer full of festivals and fun road trips, hopefully without another car getting towed.

  72. My most memorable road trip was a 2 week long trip that I took with 2 other friends. Nothing was planned prior except for the direction of South in 5 days and back north after 4 days of being in Austin TX. Met awesome people, camping in great spots and have some terrific memories from it all. 3,600 miles in all.

  73. Last summer, I went to Burning Man for the first time in a friend’s r.v. We left from Santa Cruz, and I got to sleep and/or listen to awesome music the whole way there. I woke up, and had a few of the best days of my life. Much love and awesome vibes from more people in a short time than I could have imagined. I had some grand epiphanies there, and beautiful dreams on the return trip as well.

  74. May 1995. Picked up by two Jewish twin girlfriends in a clunking-junking Oldsmobile sedan. The task? Drive 700 miles round-trip of course from Western Massachusetts to Detroit, Michigan to retrieve a cat. Grabbed an unsuspecting buddy who looked and smelled like “Chunk” from The Goonies and we were off. Two days later after gooey counter tops and steamy back seats were had a pissing crapping cat in the trunk back home just in time for finals.

  75. My most memorable road trip was driving all day long, only to get stuck in a huge snow storm over vail pass. There was over a foot of snow on the road and cars were stuck everywhere. There were a over ten fire trucks and orange fire/glow sticks everywhere. I will never forget the look of fresh powder illuminated by the orange fire hue. :)

  76. My favorite roadtrip was from
San Diego to Orange county last year for LIB. Bring it on year number 2!?

  77. How can I pick just one?? Sooo many amazing roadtrips! Once we drove for over 30 hours to make it to LIB. 6 of us! We met a llama along the way. Had an amazing dj play for us the entire trip and made it through getting pulled over to have the most amazing weekend ever =)

  78. Does a train count as a rode trip? One time I took the train from Reno, NV to New York City by myself. 4 days through America, one of the best and most memorable experiences of my life!

  79. Traveling over 500 miles with my best friends from SF to Indio for COACHELLA! The drive took about 9 hrs and we left at midnight arriving just in time set up camp and head straight into the festival without sleeping a wink! The ride back was even more interesting as everyone tried to soak in what an amazing event we had all experienced while adjusting to the reality of the outside world and trying to find our lost marbles! lol.

  80. Best road trip: to Vegoose in 07′ !!! Rage Against the Machine, Daft Punk, Queens of The Stone Age, MIA, Muse, People Under The Stairs!!! 10 hour car ride in halloween costumes…with a laptop in the backseat…distorting our faces on mac photobooth the whole way : )

  81. Most memorable road trip is when my brother and my dad, my grandmother and I all drove across the southern United States. We were all piled in an ’85 Dodge Ramcharger filled with luggage, food and camping gear. We started in Miami and drove for 9 days sometimes staying up most the day and night to drive. We drove though the big south, driving over marsh lands and bayou’s and then thru Texas which took almost 3 days and was flat in every direction, it felt like we were not going anywhere :) We went thru the deserts of Nevada and California in the scorcing hot temperatures. Finally arriving in the SF bay area to complete the journey. Most fun and memorable of my road trips so far!!!

  82. Went to a show at The Gorge. Ended leaving with one of the people I came with keys in my pocket. Got an hour and a half down the highway before I realized. The people I left with wouldn’t take me back to return keys. Ended up hitchhiking with a kid who had same plates as city I’m from. He thought his gf was cheating and was headed to catch her in the act. He drove about 110-120 entire way and kept missing turn. Listening to rap at top volume. Scariest ride I’ve ever been in.

My boyfriend and I decided to test our one year relationship by driving from Oregon to Maine in a Toyota corolla, packed full including a little dog in tow. We stopped in 10 different states to visit friends, thru the bible belt and drove 16,1/2 hours to end at the the grand canyon. We made it together and stayed together.

  84. Last summer right after coming back from a 9 hr drive from Burning Man, my friend surprised me with a Vegas suite for my bday so I drove straight out to Vegas. Didnt have time to unpack the dust or pack for partying. I had a nasty cough but didnt care and was SUPER excited. On the drive to Vegas I got pulled over for going 110mph and got a sobriety test. I told then I had a lot of cough medicine. They believed me since I was hacking up all over the cop’s hand. Good news: I had an awesome time in Vegas. Bad news: it was one HEFTY fine! Ahh memories.

  85. Driving up to Emissions festival from LA…..7 hours of crazy mountain driving to get there and then it ended up snowing during the fest which cut it short…..but it was still an amazing, magical experience. It was my first festival and I would REALLY REALLY REALLY love to go to LIB and have another amazing weekend in a festival environment. Seeing PANTyRAiD would be an absolute dream come true since I have been hyping The (wonderful) Do Lab people to bring them to LA. Thanks for making a cool contest Pulse people! :)

  86. On our way back to Santa Cruz, CA from Fort Collins, CO – my boyfriend who is a self-proclaimed “experienced driver in the snow” decided to talk on the phone while driving through a snow storm in Utah. Ends up changing lanes and breaking at the same time, sending us fishtailing across the highway headed at full speed for the center ditch. Some how he managed to turn us the other way and we survived just a little shook up. As you’d guess, I’m not a big fan of driving in the snow now, spoken like a true California beach girl – who loves CA festivals!

  87. Growing up in a big family in a rural town in California wasn’t easy. We all wore hand-me-downs and got shoes at Payless. Our parents were teachers. Dad is a science professor–think Bill Nye’s personality in Jeff Daniel’s body. Mom works with young people who have just left Juvee–Imagine Nancy from Weeds crossed with the neurotic mother from Malcom in the Middle.

So, naturally, myself and my 5 younger brothers had a lot of time during the summer to get into mischief, and with both parents at home, the most logical way to keep us from rampaging through the Temecula countryside was to vacation…in our shit brown, cramped up, Ford Windstar. We went all over the Western coast of the US, frequently visiting the same route my parents took when they honeymooned.

After discovering there was a skate park and open fireworks party at the local park in Telluride, CO…My brothers and I cohered (more like bribed with good grades) my parents that we take a trip for Independence Day.

My parents were exceptionally cranky for this trip because neither of them like the desert (of which hundreds of miles needed crossing) and wanted to be in the green hills of CO as quickly as possible. I was complaining because I was too big to sit in the back of our minivan, but our rotating seat assignments left me in a sour mood. Let alone the youngest being a baby would frequently inconvenience the rest of us with his tantrums.

My sassy mouth got me into trouble…so, dad pulls over to administer what he called divine intervention (an red hot ass smacking catholic priests wouldn’t condone) but what adds embarrASSment was that my mother whips out the video camera and catches the entire 10 whelps. Years later surfaces a video of me getting my ass spanked on the side of the highway!!!

Needless to say, I lost my virginity a few weeks later in that same park with the fireworks and tried pot (via second hand smoke) for the first time. Even though someday when I run for Senate my mother will probably release the video, I can honestly say my road trip was an epic experience that spanks this competition all the way home!!

  88. Non stop road trip, traversing from Chicago coming from Rothbury, heading to Boulder, CO.. 18 hours with no rest stops.. Only loud music and lots of yerba mate to keep me going. Of all of my road trips, for some reason this was most memorable. Perhaps it was from driving alone across the US Seeing all those states in less than a day.

  89. Wow I’ve had so many…

Most memorable would probably be the Big Sur coast & Santa Cruz with some of my favorite people. Then to Lupin Lodge for an epic festival, UNREAL.

Also Emissions campout 2011, it was pretty crazy because it snowed (this was only last weekend) and everyone’s tents collapsed. No one let it bother them and the party continued! West Coast Bass Culture

  90. My most memorable road trip was a 4 day adventure up and down the East Coast in May 2009, from South Carolina to Virginia and in between. Before summer started and right after classes ended, my best friend and I decided we needed an epic adventure before we began our summer jobs, so we drained our bank accounts and followed Pretty Lights from Charleston, SC, Wilmington, NC, Virginia Beach, VA and Richmond, VA. Interesting to say the least! Our motto was that its not a trip without some rain; must have down poured 60% of the trip… Needless to say we pulled over and slept at many gas stations. Met tons of great people on the way that we still are in contact with today.. One of which is meeting me a LIB! Nothing better than cruising the freeways listening to good music while on your way to see some live. Although I was in debt for some time afterwards, it was way worth it for me!!!!!

  91. one of my most memorable road trips was actually Lightning in a Bottle last year. I didn’t think i was going and boooom at the last minute on the day LIB started i scored a ticket from a friend and loaded up my ride, tent and toys and hit the road with MAJOR excitement. It was my first LIB experience as well and became one of theeee coolest festival gatherings I have ever experienced. Met tons of new amazing friends to expand the artistic consciousness. d(~*~)b

  92. Hitch-hiked from the island of Crete to Amsterdam in 2 weeks with about $25 between 2 people in 1987. Pretty effin wild, I must say…

  93. I was in crested Butte Colorado last spring break where we did a full really intense day of skiing after which we literally skied to the bottom of the mountain where Yonder Mountain string band was playing a late afternooon/evening set. After which we got in the car and drove all through the night back home to Portland. On the way we ran into meth heads in salt lake city, almost ran into a deer on the highway (SCARY), and made it back to portland in time for class :).

  94. Quitting my job to go see STS9 for their last new years show. I skipped their third night to go see over 20 dubstep artists on 13 different stages at the City Hall Amphitheater in Denver. The best three days of my life!! Went from flipping burgers to flipping shit when i got to meet some of my favorite dubstep artists! I would cry with happiness if I won these tickets!!! =D Thanks for the opportunity!

  95. My first trip to Electric Daisy – in 2000, it was amazing. I was in awe of the music, the people and the vibe. The road trip out past Fresno with 2 friends was so much fun.

  96. Last minutes trip to NYC. I stayed off of Central Park and saw the Christo show. It was brillant!! Huge brightly colored orange flags, artfully dressed the park . People were so excited… The energy was amazing.

  97. Most memorable road trip. Clothes were stuffed in a bag last minute with fairy wings on top. Magic happened all week as I flew through the Nevada desert in Playa-land! Fairydust everywhere !!!! W a h o o o o!

  98. Most memorable road trip was driving to Las Vegas the day after this past St. Patrick’s Day. I was quite hungover to the point that I didn’t pack anything, couldn’t drive, and was miserable the whole time. It was definitely an adventure and a struggle!
