Spencer’s Pantry: Fine Dining Catering

I like to cook. I also like to eat. Hosting dinner parties is a simple way to accomplish both. Yet when you have a big event coming up and, frankly, you would rather sit down, open a bottle of slutty Cab and unwind over good conversation, all you want is to leave the responsibility to another person. Or chef. Welcome to Spencer’s Pantry.

Spencer is a chef who is passionate about cooking, gardening and sharing his craft with inquisitive food lovers. Hire Spencer to cater one of your events and he will prepare a 6 course meal that may even include a few treasures from his personal garden.

This is no spaghetti and meatballs affair. Spencer is legitimate and brings with him an armament of offerings sure to impress even your snobbiest of guests. A few that caught my eye? The foie gras mousse with toybox tomatoes and (gasp?) rootbeer? Or how about the 4 oz scallop (no skimping on this menu) over a bed of uni potatoes with bright red beets? The hefty portion of seared bass with fresh mint, pea and mascarpone agnolotti is a clear case of original sin.

I know what you are thinking…what about price? For $75 a person, you can have a multi-course meal cooked in the comfort of your home by a private, experienced chef. Best part? Have as much wine as you like without any corkage and then enjoy stumbling the couple feet to your bed or couch for a blissful slumber.
