Join the gang at Zyzzyva for an evening of readings from Issue No. 107 of ZYZZYVA, San Francisco's acclaimed literary journal since 1985. Featuring contributors Christopher Adamson, Heather Altfeld, Ann Cummins, Lori Ostlund, and Austen Leah Rosenfeld. Hear for yourself why the Washington Post calls ZYZZYVA "one of the country's finest literary journals." Hosted by Managing Editor Oscar Villalon.

Christopher Adamson is an adjunct professor and a poet living in Oakland.

Heather Altfeld's first book, The Disappearing Theatre, won the 2015 Poets at Work Prize, judged by Stephen Dunn.

Ann Cummins is the author of the novel Yellowcake (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) and the story collection Red Ant House (Mariner Original).

Lori Ostlund is the acclaimed author of the novel After the Parade (Scribner) and the story collection The Bigness of the World (Scribner).

Austen Leah Rosenfeld's poems have appeared in AGNI, Salmagundi, Indiana Review, and other publications. She lives in San Francisco.

Zyzzyva is a triannual magazine of writers and artists. It places an emphasis on showcasing emerging voices and never before published writers in addition to the already established. Based in San Francisco, it began publishing in 1985 under founding editor Howard Junker. In 2011, Laura Cogan became ZYZZYVA’s first new editor in more than 25 years. She and Managing Editor Oscar Villalon make up ZYZZYVA’s editorial team. Every issue is a vibrant mix of established talents and new voices, providing an elegantly curated overview of contemporary arts and letters with a distinctly San Francisco perspective.
