SEE EVENT DETAILS
JULY 26TH

Your Fearless Leader: http://yflband.com

- Your Fearless Leader is a San Francisco-based band who is making waves in the local music scene. Members include Marcus Ghiasi (lead vocals, guitar), Aeryka Denton (vocals, keys), Hannah Glass (violin, bass), Elliot Glass (drums), and Lucas Kang (trumpet, guitar). Under the umbrella of Indie Rock, their sound is constantly evolving as they incorporate a wide variety of influences, and talented musicians are added with each show. Their music contains intricate rhythms and a full-bodied sound, taking rock to a new level with permeating classical instrumentations. They have created everything from powerful anthems with intoxicating melodies, to danceable jams with hard-hitting pulses. On one hand, they’ll keep you on your toes with a complex composition, and on the other, they’ll have you singing along with your first listen. Whether they’re playing an acoustic set at an intimate bar, or selling out an iconic SF venue, they are certain to have something for everyone.

We Arsons: http://wearsons.bandcamp.com

We Arsons (indie folk meets 90's rock); we're putting on an EP
release show at the Rickshaw Stop on July 26th. Playing with three other awesome local SF bands.

Our new single off the EP - just released:
https://wearsons.bandcamp.com/track/keep-the-light-on

We Arsons is an Alternative Folk and 90's rock band based out of San Francisco, CA.
The music is a mix of 90’s alternative rock and indie folk. With classic folk melodies, richly layered guitars and keys, and a driving beat, the goal is to create a soundscape that is constantly experimenting.

The themes of the continuously-evolving sound are heavy, acoustic rhythms / melodies and alternative rock walls. Ethereal sounds and aesthetics surround surrealistic lyrics properly syncopated to accentuate the different sections of each track, all of which blend in such a way as to make a song that can only be written by this band.

Michael Ballan started has been writing songs since he was a teen and more seriously attending UC Santa Cruz. After graduating, he moved to San Francisco looking for musicians and friends to help bloom the idea of a sound that mixed traditional folk with cosmic grunge; the band was started shortly after.

We Arsons released their debut album, Weather Making, in March of 2015, and will be releasing a new EP this coming summer of 2016.

ICE CREAM: http://www.thebandicecream.com
- Dairy Rock. Melting Pop.

The music of Ice Cream may not be as innocently sweet as the treat they're named after, but they'll certainly delight anyone with even a passing interest in garage rock. Their latest EP, We're Set, is a melting pot of dirty, fuzzy, and slightly stupid rock n’ roll. With standouts like “Wild” and “Surfer Girl” the band has been welcomed to share the stage with the likes of Hinds, Night Beats, Adult Books, SWMRS, The Aquadolls and many more.

Now, with momentum building, the band is working on finishing their debut full-length album recorded and mixed by legend Bruce Botnick (The Doors, The Beach Boys) and San Francisco underground icon Mike Carnahan. Their single “Seventeen” has already been premiered with The Wild Honey Pie and if its any indication of the rest of the bag, heads are gonna roll.

The Old Grey Whistle Test: http://theogwt.com/

a beaker-full of Nancy Sinatra-noir, Linda Perhacs' psychedelia, Stevie Nicks-mysticism, and Jenny Lewis' retro-inspired sounds set to a score of Ennio Morricone.
