SEE EVENT DETAILS
The third annual Yerba Buena Night has grown to more than 40 acts as part of an exciting, eclectic and free outdoor evening festival of music, art, dance and performances in downtown San Francisco on Saturday, October 12 from 6 p.m.-10 p.m.

Yerba Buena Lane, Jessie Square, Annie Alley and Yerba Buena Gardens come alive with performances by Curt Yagi, Groupo Samba Rio, Rin Tin Tiger, The Verms, aerial artists 2 of Swords, dance groups Caminos Flamencos and Robert Mosses’ Kin, among others. More than a dozen jazz and opera singers, contortionists, video interactive dancers and jugglers from supperclub will enthrall crowds with their unique performances. A video performance area, art installations, live street performances, and a gallery walk add to this memorable evening. Details are at https://www.ybnight.org

“Yerba Buena Night is a celebration of the neighborhood’s cultural heartbeat and is the perfect place to enjoy an evening under the stars. This third edition has our largest and most diverse line up of acts, which reflects the growth in its popularity as one of the city’s most entertaining and memorable events,” said Cathy Maupin, executive director of the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District (YBCBD), which is presenting the event. As home to dozens of renowned galleries and museums, Yerba Buena has the highest concentration of cultural institutions in San Francisco, as well as offering an enormous selection of food, drink, and entertainment.

Before Yerba Buena Night, take part in a Gallery Walk from 3 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. sponsored by the Yerba Buena Alliance at many of Yerba Buena’s renowned art galleries and museums.

Yerba Buena Night is presented by the YBCBD and sponsored by Target, MJM Management Group, Boston Properties, The Intercontinental Hotel, San Francisco Travel, supperclub, Novela, Westfield San Francisco Centre, METREON, Hearst Corporation, City Park, California Historical Society, Bliss Spa, Osha Thai Restaurant & Bar, Zero Zero, Café Madeleine, Yerba Buena Alliance.

It is easy to get to Yerba Buena. Take BART or MUNI to the Powell Street Station. SamTrans or Caltrain are nearby too. If you’re driving, City Park and the Hearst Corporation are offering a special $5 flat fee at the Hearst Parking Center at 45 Third Street (Voucher available at the information booth).
