I know, I know ... you're shaking your head, horrified. Those people in the south will fry anything. Well I can let you know that once you’ve had a fried turkey, a dry roasted turkey will never do again.

Deep-frying whole turkeys has become a popular tradition in southern Louisiana over the last decade. It is now catching on across the country. The problem is that the process is no easy feat. The cooking must be done outside and it requires special equipment that can be quite dangerous if handled by novices. So don’t try this at home. Bring your own turkey and let us do all the work!
