French-Israeli songstress Yael Naim, France's 2016 Artist of the Year - is best known stateside for her breakout hit "New Soul", hand-picked by Steve Jobs for this Apple campaign (2M Sales, Billboard Top 100). She's celebrating the US release of her third LP Older - 2016 Album of The Year nominee and certified Gold in France- in the US on September 2nd (via Thirty Tigers).
Mixed by Grammy winning producer Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Grizzly Bear, M Ward), Older is a collaborative effort by Naim and partner/producer David Donatien and was recorded in their home on the outskirts of Paris.
Anchored in the personal (she became a mother and lost a grandparent while writing it), Older is tethered to world events including the Paris terror attacks - which cut short her touring and promotion of the album at home in France. Instead, she was invited to lead the nation in mourning performing at the official memorial.
