Come on down to the East Village Coffee Lounge as they present their monthly Writers Open Mic event. This month's featured guest is Monterey local, Anne Ylvisaker, the author of middle grade novels Button Down, The Luck of the Buttons, Little Klein, and Dear Papa. She is also the recipient of the McKnight Artist Fellowship/Loft Award in Children's Literature. As usual, Participants in this event are given a 5 minute slot where they can read from any kind of literary work, whether it's poetry, fiction a screenplay or anything else you can think of! Free admission.
