ABOUT THE DJs
Q102.1 DJ Billy Vidal
After a few year of spinning in every nightclub around San Francisco he was hired to mix on KMEL as one of their POWER MIXERS. It was there Billy learned to remix tracks for artist and for radio play. Later he became the first Dj to mix “Live” on the air in San Francisco. It was also during this time he began cultivating my promotions skills at the biggest nightclubs in SF and started throwing my own parties. From there he went from DJ/Promoter to Night Club Owner.

PRESENT: He Currently works On-Air @ Q102.1FM in San Francisco and do a mix show as well.

MUSIC STYLE: Because I have an extensive musical background and eclectic taste I think it’s a mistake to pigeon hole oneself to any genre. I like the music to tell a story and the vibe to dictate the direction, but ultimately its up to the “Promoter” to tell me there expectation. My job is to live up to those expectations and beyond! I can play it all to perfection…

PRODUCTION: Currently in the studio working on my Solo project, It will be a journey from my musical influences from those old Studio West days to the Sexy House of San Francisco to the Miami Bass I worked on with Mr. Mixx (2live Crew). In the past I have recorded, produced and remixed over 100 Tracks.

DJ MR. BEST
Los Angeles native, Ryan Best, better known by his stage name DJ MR. BEST, grew up in Philadelphia. Influenced by an eclectic blend of Rock & Roll, R&B, and Hip-Hop, he developed a well-rounded appreciation for music, and began collecting records at a young age. After getting his first set of DJ equipment, DJ MR. BEST quickly picked up the craft and began his pursuit to being one of the nations most in-demand DJs.
He moved back to Los Angeles to build his name as a prominent West Coast DJ and he can now be found monthly performing at the most premier nightclubs in Hollywood, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego and more cities! He also landed a position as an official tour DJ for the Yahoo! “On The Road Tour” in 2013, performing alongside the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons and Empire of the Sun, to name just a few.
BEST can also be found DJ-ing for The Academy Awards, The Golden Globes, and The Emmys, as well as various movie and television premiere events such as Seven Pounds, Salt, Burlesque, Black Swan, Lost, and The Office to name a few. He became the go-to DJ for events such as US Weekly’s Hollywood Hot Party and consecutive events for the GQ Man of The Year Awards and the TNT NBA All Star Parties. His influence has even spread to Vegas where he’s done events like Polaroid’s CES After Party for Lady Gaga. Soon, major corporate clients followed as MR. BEST was hired for companies such as Mercedes Benz, Warner Brothers, HTC, Viacom, as well as A-List celebrity clients such as Paris Hilton, Lauren Conrad, and Britney Spears.
MR. BEST has curated music as the director of entertainment for former Hollywood hotspots; Crownbar, The Dime and Winston’s. These premier venues led to MR. BEST being featured in high profile publications such as Vanity Fair, LA Confidential Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, OK! Magazine and Us Weekly. He was also included in a cover story for Teen Vogue magazine where he worked on set with platinum recording star Ciara and famed photographer Frederick Helwig.
To further diversify himself, he has released various in-demand mix tapes and official remixes. He teamed up with a producing partner, DJ Spider, to do official remixes for major record labels including tracks for Usher (Love In This Club & DJ Got Us Falling In Love) that became an exclusive ringtone deal through Sony Erickson, Ciara (Go Girl), and Far East Movement (Rocketeer). Their production has also been featured on FOX’s primetime television show “Bones”.
Always evolving with the industry, MR. BEST continues to grow making his television debut as a club DJ on HBO’s hit series “Entourage”. He was then cast as the prom DJ with a speaking role in the Polish Brothers movie “Stay Cool.” He has also made appearances on reality shows including MTV’S “Meet the Barkers,” “The Hills,” and “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF.”

About The Pop Up- Winstons Supperclub (Dallas TX):

Winstons Supperclub:
“A bit of class, a bit crazy” is the mantra of the upscale boutique nightclub, Winstons Supperclub, located in the Oak Lawn section of Uptown Dallas.
