The Winchester Orchestra wraps its season with works by Friedrich von Flotow, Pietro Mascagni and Ruggiero Leoncavallo, Maurice Ravel, and Tchaikovsky. These performances are special, as the orchestra's founder and conductor emeritus, Henry Mollicone, will join the orchestra's new conductor, Michael DiGiacinto at the conclusion of his inaugural season. Mollicone will lead the orchestra in Flotow's "Overture" to the comic opera Martha; Mascagni's "Interlude" from the opera Cavalleria Rusticano; Leoncavallo's "Interlude" from the opera I Pagliacci; and Ravel's Bolero. DiGiacinto will conduct Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 2.
