There’s no two ways about it. On the surface, SF-based Wild Moth are a punk rock band. They have the riffs, the rawness, the energy, the DIY ethos—they’re even signed to local Asian Man Records. But underneath all that, they are a lot more nuanced and intricate than the constant fury that normally defines punk rock. Their highly dynamic songs meld heavy riffs, lush guitar work and technical chops.
