The Emerald Tablet hosts Art Peterson, who will introduce, read from, and sign copies of his Book Why Is That Bridge Orange: San Francisco for the Curious.

Writing in a style that combines careful research with entertaining prose, Art provides in-depth answers to 86 questions that the reasonably inquisitive might have about our city, such as “Why is Lombard Street crooked?” and “Why are there windmills at Ocean Beach?”

The afternoon will also feature a video created from the many images in Why Is That Bridge Orange?

This event is free and open to the public.

1:30 pm doors, 2:00 pm show.
