ll physically challenged members of the community are invited to go fishing on the Monterey Bay at no cost. Registration is required, deadline is on Friday, September 26, 2014 for fishing. Over 300 participants on nine boats is expected. This event is funded by private and corporate donations to the non-profit agency Monterey Bay Veterans, Inc. of the Sports Rehab Center. This program provides transportation to major events and outdoor activities to help integrate individuals socially with the community as a whole. Dinner afterwards will be in Seaside at 6pm at the American Legion.
