ROBERT JEFFERY
Robert Jeffrey grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. Shortly after moving to San Francisco began DJing in 2009 and quickly gained residencies at Viennetta Discotheque, Dial Up, Odyssey, and Booty Call Wednesdays. He has graced the decks of such Nightlife Institutions as Honey Soundsystem, Housepitality, Bearracuda, Vandam (NYC), Westgay (NYC), and Good Times (NYC), to name a few.
Robert Jeffrey is also part of the Soo Wavey Records crew (alongside Vin Sol & Matrixxman), releasing his first two singles with 5kinAndBone5 on the label in 2012.
ONE A
A part of the House of Aviance since 1989, Gehno [1A] Aviance has been DJing since 1992. He got his start playing at legendary east coast parties and raves such as Ultraworld (BALT) and Buzz (DC). In the early 90's he joined the Snowball Collective from NYC and DC and went on to throw some of the most-talked (to this day) underground and weekly parties in Washington DC. In 1998 he moved to San Francisco where he has continued to dj and hone his talent to this day.
His sound is an amalgam of 22+ years of musical influences which has been described as Deep Garage Tech. His sets incorporate Deep Tech, Garage, Breaks and Techno into a seamless musical journey deep rooted in the past whist always keeping his finger on the pulse of the future. He may even drop an original track or two. His latest release on the Friends With Benefits Records is named "The Godbody". on all the regular digital music stores.
At the moment Gehno holds residencies at: Hardbox, Romper Room, Under Construction & Unicorn in San Francisco.
ZOZ
Evan McDonnell prefers the Zoz approach to DJing. His sound is unbeholden to genre or tempo, with attention to detail while embracing formlessness. Zoz is known as a resident and promoter of the long running WERD parties in San Francisco. With Renzo Gorrio, he creates discoid mutations hinting at a submerged funk under the moniker Soft and Crispy. On his own, Zoz crafts shipwrecked sounds found over the dunes after beaching your sailboat on a faraway island. Always bringing unique concepts to a set, Zoz delivers equal parts depth and elevation.
