Description

The Welfare Poets from New York, are a collective of activist, eduators and artist that use live hip hop, Bomba y plena and Latin Jazz to bring information and inspiration for empowerment. Youth Movement Records from Oakland, is a youth directed recording label that uses music to build self-esteem and community. Rythm in Reason is a series devoted to conscious alternative expressions from the Hip Hop generation.
