| Description "We, Asian sex workers" portrays our own personal story of being an Asian sex worker from the U.S or abroad. We hope this show will help to educate San Francisco and beyond about some of the misconceptions too often presented about our lives. Artists in this show include: Mariko Passion, performance artist, whore revolutionary & founder of SWOP-LA; Reagan Louie, renowned Asian photographer; Tracy Quan, writer & call-girl extraordinaire; political sex worker, Annie Chen; Surgeon Scofflaw, radical queer hapa; The Girls of Banteay Srei; and Ivy of the Young Women's Empowerment Project in Chicago. Come and view their artwork all week long, participate in the "Asian Sex Worker Sensitivity Training" on the 14th, or join us for our Migrant Sex Worker Discussion panel on Wednesday the 18th! |
