Located on Pier 7, the newly revamped Waterfront might be confused with just another wharf warehouse. The interior, however, is an inspired combination of Chinese sea motifs and Italian gold-toned decadence in a converted industrial second floor with a first-rate view of the bay and bay bridge. The food, like the interior, is Asian-Italian fusion with an emphasis on the more indulgent aspects of each cuisine. The former chef of Oritalia has designed a menu featuring items like oysters and foie gras, seared ahi tuna encrusted with sesame seeds and creme fraiche/sake ice cream - all perfect for a romantic evening or a power business meeting.
