Boasting over twenty years as a musician, DJ, producer and organizer, Gibbons is warmly known for his lovingly curated events including Soul Revival and Uhuru Afrika. A leader in the soulful house - dance scene of the East Coast, Uhuru Afrika offers a multi-sensory experience, bridging electronic sounds to the diaspora and beyond, naturally positioning Gibbons for an Oakland embrace.
Having worked with some of our musical heroes, from Bebel Gilberto to Black Coffee, Louie Vega to Oumou Sangare, we are thrilled to welcome such a talented and accomplished individual to {SKIN}.
