Valley Dance Theatre's Spring Rep Highlights Classical, Contemporary Ballet Works
Spring Rep celebrates the joy and beauty of dance through excerpts from repertory pieces, both classical and contemporary. This season's production will feature "Less Is More", set to the famous music of Soviet Armenian conductor-composer Aram Khachaturian; "Asian Artistry", uniting cultural traditions with contemporary jazz fusion and featuring soloist, Cherri Wang; and "Gemstones" - "Pearl", "Moonstone" and "Quartz", a trio of graceful works by Bay Area choreographer, Brenna Richards.
